I am really looking forward to Hostel and Hostel II coming out on Tuesday. I have never seen either movie but I have heard a lot about the first one from one of my roommates.

Hmm, gonna have to rent the Descent and Hostel as I've never seen either one. BTW, anyone see 1408 yet? Any good?

![]() Well, one of the greatest horror flicks of all time was Tod Browning's FREAKS. There has never been a successful video transfer (bad PQ, bad AQ). Blu could clean that up and truly restore the film. FREAKS is not a genre horror film. It is a unique film. If you have never seen it, no matter what you can imagine, you can't imagine this one. ![]() Last edited by Kristin Simard; 10-21-2007 at 05:49 AM. Reason: spelling / typo |

8 Films to Die For would be the Horrorfest movies from Lionsgate. I wish they would have, but some of them weren't the greatest looking at the theater, remember these are all LOW budget movies.

This film is really a work of art. BTW, I saw that a DVD release has a couple "alternate endings". I may have to check that out. I have only seen the "standard ending" that was in the later theatrical releases. Otherwise, I want it restored and in Blu. |

![]() But Tod Browning takes you into the curious world of a circus side show, a freak show, with a few twists. The story is reminiscent of some of the stories in the now-extinct Creepy magazine. (I have a friend who owns the first 2 years.) ![]() |
