I really enjoyed the Thiel 3.7 at a show held past march in Montreal, they were my favorites of the show.

When I think dream speakers, I limit myself to something that is at least attainable. So, with that said, I'd have to go with the Swans F5F.

Swans recommends a 30-300 meter squared room for maximum benefit. And if I couldn't use them properly, I'd have to go with the Swans F2.2F.

Both set ups would be under $10,000 for full surround, thus qualifying them for my dream speaker set up. As it stands now, I'd rather buy a boat, lol.

Haha, I know. It's been tough finding owners of these speakers to chat with. Maybe you should start an official Dyn thread. This way, I could read about other people enjoying these awesome speakers until I can afford a set of my own.

Dali or Dynaudio would be my dream system.

I heard the Concepts and the Ikons and love them. The dealer had Helicons there but they weren't setup.
The helicons are so awesome. My favorite for music that I have heard. I do love the Focus series from Dynaudio too, I have heard the 220 II's and the 360's. Looks like we have similar taste Callas.

Of the listed I chose the Paradigms.

I've heard many, many speakers - but Sonus Faber is just like liquid gold. I like the Stradivari, Ellipsa, Guaneri Memento, Amatis and Cremona. I would be happy with any of these.

I'll agree with you there, although it's been some time since I last had an opportunity to listen to them. The dealer near my house closed shop about 2 years ago, and I haven't bothered to travel across town to audition any new models.

Does anyone know of or has anyone ever auditioned Loiminchay speakers? They look absolutely stunning and I'm sure they have a price to match!

John

It appears that we do. I want to go back to that dealer and hear the Helicons and see if they have the new MA RX6s and the GS60's he said he would be getting....
