Lord of the rings Trilogy will be available in Steelbook edition. Each film has its own steelbook.

Yea, I don't know what this guy is trying to pull. However, we are indeed getting the Steelbook as confirmed by Brana and kerenos in the FS forums. It will be a Jumbo Steelbook so I'm just wondering how they plan on getting all 9 discs in.

It is probably be the worldwide premiere of the 6-disc BD-sized Jumbo Steelbook a.k.a The Ultimate Lunchbox

I would guess Digital Copies will be placed inside in envelopes. That's gonna be a heavy piece of Steel. Just imagine all the possible dents

That's why I plan on picking them up in person. I want extra's too but am afraid of the price for a trilogy buying 2 copies is like buying 6 movies =o.

Brana said something about that. a SB to fit 6 discs and the 3 digital copies stuck behind the paper sleeve.

10 copies per store? i have no idea. we get plenty of copies over here in Montreal. there's usually one FS that has lots of copies.

all i know is it's going to be expensive but at least, there isn't much SB out by then

We are talking about LOTR here!
The Disneys were limited but that's it, the demand is hidh and it "might be" the biggest seller of the whole year. They should print over 10,000 but I'm just speculating at this point.
