Thank you very much!

I even checked this shop during my search (showed 268 items), but this offer didn't show up. In your link it says "not available to Germany".
Anyway, he's a bit pricey, so it's no loss at all...

Great news. I have the British dvd, so this Korean BD should be pretty good. I look forward to hear the shootouts in lossless sound.

I don't think it's a steelbook...but more of a ironpack.

I just sent an email to K2DVD when they will be getting them in...

This site claims that this wave of Korean releases are steelbooks (view it through Chrome):

I spoke to k2dvd about this...and here is what they said... Based on the spine, it does not look like a steelbook at all...it looks like an IronPack. Personally, I think they did a bad job with the blu-ray logo on top...it looks awkward because it hits his head. I highly doubt steelbook would do such a thing.

Either way, I'm planning to get it

K2DVD did not received any information about the release date or detail of it, but they are aware of a blu-ray release. As soon as they get more info, they'll update their website.

In Korea, people say often Ironpack, Metalpack, Steelbook or Steelcase are all same sort. Differenciated not so strictely as you overseas steelbook fans may do.)

If the info on the back-paper is accurate, this will have different transfer/specs than the JP release: VC-1 encode, Korean DTS-HD MA Audio and English Subs.
I hope the info on the back-paper is accurate too!

I don't care about the steelbook. I just hope it looks better than that 1080p upscaled dvd they released in Japan.

Couldn't agree more. I'm not sure what Eins M&M track record is but I don't have a very good feeling about this release. Judging from the lacklustre cover art, the uninspired packaging, and the fact that it was initially advertised as a 2-Disk release and now the new specs indicate only one, it feels like the whole thing is a rushed job. I really hope I'm wrong.

I wish CJ Entertainment had the rights to this. They're definitely a company which respects its films.

It seems this is not an Eins M&M release anymore. Looks like that was an error. The distributor of the other similar release (Sin City, 9, T2) is something called "Content Zone" (컨텐츠존). I don't know if this is an actual distributor or just a fill in name, but it is not an Eins release. Eins actually releases Steelbooks (and nice ones to boot).

Now I have no idea what to think of the release. I am a bit concerned how the back only lists "English SDH" and no standard English subs.

Hmmm....that's really a cause for concern I've heard of this other korean company - Peter Pan Pictures - which is notorious for ripping pre-existing content straight from international releases , re-packaging it and selling it in the Korean market. I hope this is not the case here and that we're not getting the Japanese Blu-ray of the film repackaged.

If the info on the back of the steelbook is to be believed, this will be a new transfer (different video codec, different audio)...

I guess we won't know anything until it comes out...
