Lady in the Water has already been on Blu-ray for a while... I think that's his only Blu-ray currently tho.

If Disney starts tapping into the vault with some of their classics, as part of this schedule, it will turn into a blood bath.

Blu-ray = Earps

hd-dvd = Clantons

As long as Disney takes the time to do it right, I'll wait for any film they have.

Top on my list is my name-sake, TRON. Followed by many of the CGI titles.

Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 would be Bliss ! Though with Fantasia being such an old film i have my doubts on how good it'll look and sound.
Also, I'm 26 and am looking forward to the pixar flicks(Cars and Ratatouille) and the best of collection volume 1.

At this point, they own them outright. Disney bought Pixar, and they are no longer a separate company.

Big titles from Disney and Sony will make 4Q ugly. It's hard to envision anything below 75/25 BD.

Agreed, could somebody please clarify this data point? 2007, or 2008?

I've always wondered why the BDA and supporting studios wouldn't match the 2:1 sales volume lead with a 2:1 lead in content availability...????????? I'm thinking not a bad idea to beat their ass silly in the content race (whilst preserving Blu-rays lead in quality)...

Quite possibly the only movie for which I've ever watched the "extras". A wonderful movie which I'd love to own in Blu-ray.

...and the Fleischer connection is a marvelous bit of film irony.

I think that the "300 more movies by the end of the year" prediction is a bit extreme, but if they only release half that between now and Christmas, we'll have a solid year for the Blu-ray camp.
