Well this could be fun to watch.

I have a few stacked disc sets, and I'm not a fan. I haven't run into any scratches yet, I just don't like the stacked setup.

I've never bought a release like this. Seems inexcusable to me. Lack of quality control.

This is kind of been my experience too. This doesn't annoy me as much as the security precautions in stores. Put one out on display and keep the rest in the back, like most companies do.

+1. For what it's worth, I don't own any blu-rays packaged with stacked discs, but the few DVDs I have that utilize this setup haven't run into any scratches or other problems.

Spider wrap is truly demonic stuff. The inventor should never ever be allowed a mint condition item of any kind for the rest of his\her\their life.

I'd like to thank the mods for cleaning up the thread, but is there any particular reason why my post was deleted? Make sure you aren't deleting something when its relevant to the thread, ok?

You should change your sig to: "Do you really have something to delete or are you just in love with the clicking of your mouse?"

Default A stacking story

v__v

I'll just say this about stacked discs. A long long time ago in a thread far far away a member mentioned putting BDs in patterned sleeves in binders for a long length of time got the pattern impressed onto the discs (maybe searching for viscous'll get the thread). I once had to stack like 150 BD discs I had in 3 DVD cakes for moving them. Tho I was careful to have the cakes travel and rest horizontally (So the discs weren't pressing on each other by their own weight) when it came time some months later to rehydrate the discs into 150 BD cases, a couple of the discs were stuck to each other. They separated easily, but one of them that had stuck, when I played it I noticed had a couple of motion (playback) hiccups where the image kind of froze or slowed down and caught up with itself. Since I hadn't watched it before can't say for sure if this was a result of being stuck or it was always like that. But I've never had other discs do that. discus amator cavete

It'd be ironic if the protective coating that Blu-rays have also made them stick to each other.

I never heard of this happening before. I've had CDs and video games in binders for years without any adverse effects. Could this problem be unique to blus?

House: Seasons 6, 7, and 8 are all guilty of the stacked-disc syndrome.

I decided against purchasing the Dirty Harry 4-pack partly for this reason. I'm not particularly worried about the damage to the discs, but it's an unattractive design.

I used to have the Hammer Icons of Suspense collection on DVD, and that set consisted of stacked discs, much to my dismay.

No, if you have binders full of women, they stick together too.
