I'm not a big fan of the cover art for Vertigo and Rear Window but I really like the cover art for The Birds.

I was fortunate enough to see Kim Novak last week at the TCM Classic Film Festival. I can't wait to watch "Vertigo" on Blu-ray!

Can I purchase VERTIGO safe in the knowledge that the original mono track is included and there are no serious AV hiccups?

I saw The Birds, Psycho , Vertigo, Rope , The Trouble with Harry , Rear Window, North by Northwest and Saboteur at Costco an hour ago

I noticed that Vertigo had DTS-HD 5.1 ,
unlike my U.S. Boxed set which has DTS-HD 2.0

By the way, I hate the high contrast -photoshopped covers but the price was right

Does Vertigo have all the previous extras? I have the Legacy DVDs of Vertigo and Rear Window

Can anyone specify whether or not the digital redemption code included in "The Birds" release redeems on iTunes in HD or SD? I know that when Universal released the DVD edition last year the redemption code only redeemed in SD on iTunes. Any info is appreciated, thank you!

I just ordered all four of these. Yes, I know getting the Essentials Collection is cheaper, but I really wanted them as individual releases. I'll probably sell all the DCs so I can at least knock some of the dent out.

Only The Birds is available through BN though, the others are through another seller, so you wouldn't get free shipping. If you are ordering more than one of these, the bestbuy.com prices are probably your best bet.
