I'm more confused about Travis Knight directing. He's a huge supporter for stop motion and practical effects, and this doesn't fit to his tastes, not to mention his own studio is all about high quality storytelling, something the Transformers films aren't. Maybe the robots will be stop motion and harken back to the Harryhausen days?

Take something I'm interested in (Hailee Steinfeld), and combine it with something I have NO interest in (Transformers)...and I'm left very confused.

How about this? give Bumblebee his ability to speak back voiced by Jeff Bridges and we got ourselves a True Grit reunion. Matt Damon voices the villain.

Hopefully Hailee gives up the annoying pop music and focuses full time on acting. She is too talented an actress to waste time on something she isn't very good at.

Easy pass for me. I loathe her, such a b*tch to her fans, personal experience.

The last Transformers was bad, the new one looks even worse.

The first one was so much fun though.

I agree that she's a wonderful actress, and I'm not sold on her music. That being said, she clearly enjoys it and is having fun.

well, "her" being In Talks for this was announced today, but the Spinoff for "Bumblebee" was announced a while ago (few months or so).
