I wasn't even aware Ariana Grande was an actor, but something about her personality makes me think she'll make a good Glinda. Don't think I've seen Cynthia Erivo in anything so not sure in regards to her.

As for Grande, we do know how she acts and sings. We've seen her sing plenty, and she's also already done several TV shows and a couple films, including the live version of the musical Hairspray.

Both have done acting and singing. That info is out there. Both have released albums. One more than the other. I’ve seen Ariana Grande in stuff and I’m not impressed. I also hate her singing. So I am out after this casting. Unless the reviews are extremely glowing. I’ll pass.
