The codes that were in the game will still most likely work but as for the other thing, this doesn't use cartridges. The cartridge slot is there for aesthetic purposes only and doesn't actually open. The games are pre-loaded and there is no internet connection and USB is for power supply only so there's no way to add more games later on (I'm sure someone will find a way though)

The only Nintendo console my family ever had was N64, so I looked into that old password system as well as this newer suspend feature. So I guess for the games that you could save in-game back in the day (FF, Kirby, StarTropics, Zelda 1&2) will retain that ability, but for other games they're getting rid of the passwords. So these "multiple suspend points" are basically a chapter select (if you wanted to choose where you begin playing) and to suspend your current game without losing progress?

Wish it had wireless controllers. I love the idea for my kids as they would find the joys of the early mario games. Sucks that it doesnt play the carts as I have a ton of them in storage somewhere. I got excited thinking about some old school fun.

I might get their Gamepad. It's supposed to work with Wii U & I have a crap ton of NES games on there that I'd prefer a Nintendo made brand retro NES style pad.

The LA Raiders with Bo Jackson was like playing on "god" mode. The Bears with Walter Peyton was as well to a slightly lesser extent. Dallas was pretty good with Tony Dorsett and so was San Fran with Roger Craig. But none of them compared to Bo who was like a machine in that game.
