20th Century Fox presumably just dipping their toe in the water with this UHD release. Releasing the first movie, seeing how that sells and then lining up the sequels if sales are good. Warner Bros look to be taking a similar approach with The Matrix.

I'm sure it'll do well. Then the world can finally experience William Sadler in 4K doing his naked free-form dance moves/yoga/some kind of martial art/whatever-the-hell from Die Hard 2.

Note to Fox: if a boxset with all movies is to be released, please make sure we get the unrated version of Live Free Or Die Hard in all territories!!!

Dolby Atmos?

Die Hard was one of the films they demonstrated catalog Atmos remixes when they introduced the home Atmos format.

Just bought the full box set not all that long ago, was pretty pleased to have condensed all five (and a bonus disc) into 14mm of shelf space.

I'm quite the opposite. I want individual releases of every movie because I want my collection to be bigger.

I'll be picking this up for sure though. It's one of those (non-Christmas) movies that I still have yet to own. Glad I held out.

The only Die Hard film that's legitimately shit is the fifth one.

There's nothing wrong with the other three sequels. Well four is a PG-13 for some stupid reason but it's still fine.
