I’m hopeful for a couple more, but will probably be left disappointed. At least a second F-take situation would be cool (to keep up with Fear’s quota).
Perhaps
[Show spoiler]Negan yelling at Rick “WTF is wrong with you” in the basement sequence OR in the finale, Rosita punching Eugene and saying “That’s for the f*cking puke”
. It appears as if that is what Rosita says; Either that or the ADR was f*cked up on that take, ‘cos the words spoken do not match Rosita’s lips.

The Blu-Ray is an unrated release. We should be getting more F-takes than just the one. If they can re-edit S4 and S6 eps (S5 was an audio drop-out), they can edit more.
Still can’t believe how we can see some shocking gore but to hear the F-bomb is offensive.

August 21 will give “walkindeadians” plenty of time to check out S8 again before S9.

IF there is a Limited Edition set for S8, I’m sure, like other LE releases since S5, it will come out months later.

I'm kinda pissed off that they raised the price on the blu-ray/DVD. It used to be $29.99 but now the price has gone up to $39.99, very confused. I hope it goes back down this year

Confused, why?
Inflation is a fact of life and will always happen. Even to home media.

You like to get a pay raise, right? Well so do all the many folks that work all the various jobs that put physical media up for sale.

Dead Heads is the more appropriate term

What he's saying is, Anchor Bay kept TWD bluray releases $29.99; sometimes they'd go on sale for $24.99 on release day. Ever since Lionsgate took over release, they raised the price to $39.99.

Which isn't fair as the Lionsgate releases feature shittier packaging, don't go on sale during release day, less bonus features, and no uncensored Negan.

Costs always go up. Nothing is immune to inflation.

Yeah but that doesn't mean it doesn't suck for the people who want to buy it.

I never said it didn’t, but as they say: that’s life.

I'm not sure what your point is...but all I'm saying is nobody is gonna pay almost $80 for two blu-rays, that's ridiculous as hell. And yeah it is part of life, but so is expressing to others your opinion about it. I was getting concerned last year that season 7's price would stay at 42.99 and it did. As I've seen on target season 8 is following the same pattern. Lol I'm getting mine from an eBay seller

Well I'm glad you can afford inflation prices because there are those like myself along with others who can't pay the higher costs.

I said this a while back, but I really hope lionsgate keeps the packaging the same. Fear The Walking Dead seasons 1 and 2 were released from anchorbay and have the same style that TWD does, the gloss + embossing + matte. When season 3 dropped from lionsgate, it was all smooth, nothing embossed or glossed. I have a feeling they're gonna **** up season 8 as well 🙈

This is evident with the quality of the slipcover being more flimsy/cheap from TWD Season 6 to Season 7. Can definitely feel a difference.

It’s not going to be $80 on release day.
My point is over time costs rise. It happens. Even to blu-rays. So comparing a release price from several years ago is not always going to keep the same price. A lot of external factors that go into getting that release out have risen in cost.
I wish bread and milk were the same price from 1950, hell gas too! That would be swell, but it’s not going to happen.

Me too!
Then just wait until you can afford them. Day 2, onward is much more cost friendly than Day 1.

Heck, I'm still waiting for season 7 to drop in price. It was the worst season and I don't want to pay full price for it, but I WILL buy it to make my collection complete, just not at it's current price.

Did the Blu-ray for Season 7 even drop on Black Friday?

Pretty typical though, companies keep on taking more from us for the exact same product.

True. DVD makes up at least 90% of physical discs at Walmart.

They obviously have never bought any of Blufan's releases then you'd have reason to complain about cost.

If you can't afford it day 1 then wait for the price to drop until you can afford it, Pretty simple

Here I was expecting some news on the exclusives for the show yet; it's just some people arguing as usual.
