I'll go with 256 Million, I think it has enough to break Force Awakens records with the 10 years of build up and the new audience from Black Panther. I think basing off past numbers would be 4340 theaters with a 56,000 average would see 243 Million if they are able to put out enough showings.

I feel like this will be like the last Jedi. It will do well but nothing compared to the first movie. The hype of bringing back a movies series is not at strong.

So, what you're essentially saying is that it will finish with less than Ultron at the domestic BO. Yeah, I don't think so.

The starting point for this one is $200 million and goes up from there.

I think they meant Jurassic World, not this movie.

Don't you mean domestic gross and not just opening weekend?

Red Sparrow still lighting up the BO.

Yes, I caught that later once JMS1223 pointed it out. Didn't pay attention to the post you were replying to.

With on you Fallen Kingdom. I have it topping out at 400, maybe 450, if it's a good movie. Unless there's been a renewed interest in dinos among kids I don't see it doing JW type BO.

Avengers: Infinity War’ Outpacing Last Seven Marvel Movies Combined in Fandango Presales!!

Quote:
Currently, the superhero tentpole is selling more than double the amount of tickets on Fandango that “Black Panther” sold at the same point in the sales cycle. In fact, “Infinity War” is currently outpacing the last seven Marvel movies combined, including massive titles like “Thor: Ragnarok,” “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” “Guardian’s of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” and “Captain America: Civil War.”

The upcoming “Avengers” pic, which opens on April 27, is pacing to be the Fandango’s top preseller among April releases, as well as the the top superhero preseller in the company’s history.

Wow! Looks like it might very well beat Star Wars: The Force Awakens and be the first to make $1 Billion domestically.
