I'm sure somebody will find a reason to complain but, barrings serious issues coming up, it sounds like this will be the definitive DotD release. The pre-order can't come quickly enough.

I'm not a big horror fan, but even I think this one is pretty great.

I've been thinking that too. If there was enough interest in Night of the Demon for Powerhouse/Indicator to print 10,000 copies of the limited edition (just the limited edition, with a standard edition to follow), then Dawn of the Dead has the potential to be huge. I really hope they don't underestimate demand here.

It would be nice if companies that insist on doing limited editions would follow the Indicator model and raise the print run if the pre-orders demand it.

Yeah, it's slightly worrying because there have been UK limited editions that sold out in less than 24 hours I missed out on, like Eureka's steelbook of Fright Night. I don't care about steelbooks but I wanted the booklet. I got the Carpenter 4ks but they sold out very fast too. This will sell like gangbusters unless a U.S. label announces it too, so I hope they understand that and make a large print run of whatever deluxe version they will surely do.

I'll pay $100 for this on Ebay if I have to, but I don't want to.

Considering we're getting all 3 cuts in 4K, plus I assume extras, it'll be pricey unless they use seamless branching.

And then there's the fact that the 4K always seems to include the blu ray or a blu ray as well. If it's just one 4K/blu-ray w/ seamless branching and extras blu rays, I reckon about £30-40 like the JC 4K sets. If the cuts are separate discs, whether just 4K or both, its going to go well towards and possibly above $100.

. That plus those effects haven't aged well and will look even worse in 4K.
