This would be great if they were completely regraded from scratch.

Criterion's set does have some good extras, some work done to the masters of the other films but suffers from some of the same issues that are baked into all releases of the 4K scans including the UHD versions that have popped up in other countries. So you have to pick and choose between Criterion and Shout's sets for which you prefer.
It isn't a perfect set but is probably the best overall release so far.

However it is worth every penny for the presentation of ENTER THE DRAGON. Not just because Warner did a brand new scan and both cuts are presented-but every penny is worth it to finally have the original mono back. And for the one scene in the extended cut to finally have a mono option where it contains Lee's actual dialog.
I think it's a new mono transfer too. I basically picture it as a WAC affair shoved in a Criterion box...just not at full WAC encoding levels.

The experience of watching GAME OF DEATH is being appalled at the shamelessness of the film's producers, eventually trying to laugh at the ridiculousness and being amazed for the billionth time that John Barry's genius was such that he could score the literal hell out of anything. The main theme popped in my head as I type.

Enter The Dragon has to be a dead cert from Warner for a UHD next year for its 50th anniversary. Whether it'll include the original audio is another matter.

Luckily, Warner has been including original audio on their recent UHD catalogs, hopefully that's a trend that continues!

I doubt there will be substantial improvement in image (over Shout and Criterion), but audio is what could get me to buy this. I’d love to have the theatrical Japanese English audio tracks that were missing from the Shout and Criterion releases.

The Big Boss
- The Japanese English track (with English dubbing, Lee’s genuine battle cries, Original & Peter Thomas composite score, Mike Remedios theme song)

Fist of Fury
- The Japanese English track (with English dubbing, Lee’s genuine battle cries, Mike Remedios songs)

Way of the Dragon
- The authentic Japanese English track (not the Shout & Criterion version that is cut, missing music and plays music in wrong scenes) (with English dubbing, Lee’s genuine battle cries, Mike Remedios theme song). This of course requires them to acquire the slightly extended Japanese cut of the film so that the songs can play in full and in correct places.

Not thrilled to hear about the inclusion of Bruceploitation, which I've always had a low opinion of. I'd accept Game of Death because it at least has genuine Lee footage, but that's it.

I went into GOD on my first viewing expecting maybe 16mm news footage blown up and cropped, which would've been bad enough, but when the scene arrived and it was clearly scope 35mm footage that looked about the same as anything else in the movie I realized it was even worse.

Subtitles will likely be worse and I predict at least one will have aspect ratio/cropping issues. Because those are the norm for Arrow and these types of films.

But hey, it will probably come in a big heavy box and contain a map of the world showing important locations where Bruce Lee beat people up! And a bunch of commentaries & stories from people who have read about him a lot! Some of it may even be accurate! Go Arrow!!!

From what I've read, Lee and Chow were close to calling it quits not long before Lee's death.
