Donnie Brasco worth owning? - Page 3 - Blu-ray Forum

Would love to get Brasco on Blu Ray but the extended cut ruins the flow of the film. Whenever they get around to releasing the theatrical cut, I'd definitely say that Brasco is really worth purchasing....

The other thing I really enjoy about this movie is that it is all based on real events. Either Discovery, or History channel awhile back did an entire piece on the

It really is an amazing story and interestingly enough, the movie pegged about 90%+ stuff exactly how it happened as reported and told by

[Show spoiler]

Overall, I'd say it's a very interesting movie (esp. since it's a true story), but it wasn't very entertaining--if that makes sense. It seemed like it was never gonna end.

I've seen this on multiple formats and never has this film looked so good. Everyone has different taste so you're going to get different opinions on the movie but one thing I can say is that you won't be dissappointed with the PQ.

that's what I did too as I have with other "special edition" dvd's that come out on a bare-bones blu-ray

yea some scenes were ok but some scenes were totally pointless, like wen hes walking the lion outside of the bar wtf?? and that crazy foreign lady is sayin all bunch of crap and then it shows the lions dump and shes like "omg look at it" or sumthin

Just watched this on dvd last night. Wanted to see if I should upgrade to the $10 Costco or Target blu-ray.

The movie is very good; not sure if I want to watch it over and over again. The dvd has a very good picture and the sound is excellent. For me, I see no reason to upgrade to blu, even at $10. The dvd presentation is excellent.

I just don't want to upgrade an entire dvd collection of over 700 dvds. Some films that I will watch over and over such as the Bonds, Sound of Music, Pirates of the Caribbean, Music Man, Disney's etc. I will upgrade.
