Some extended cuts, director cuts, special editions, etc. have a few extra minutes added and/or removed. Usually no real difference some of the time.

Just watched Donnie Brasco:Extended cut. Great

It had significant additions that added to the movie. If you own and liked the DVD buy the Blu-ray.

Also happy with changes made to Troy and Daredevil. Love my LOTR extended sets (only DVD

)

This is probably the most under-appreciated gangster/mob film ever. A must own BD. The PQ is really good too

I've been wanting to check out the new version of brasco and troy after hearing good things.....daredevil's pq was pretty bad and ruined that one for me unfortunately.

lol sorry..the extended/director's cuts of them. haven't seen the blu versions of donnie brasco or troy yet period so these would be "new" versions for me as I haven't seen either since the theater viewings when they came out.

I agree with everyone. This is a good movie and Sony did a terrific job (as usual) with the BD. Go forth and buy it if you don't already own it.

this is a great movie-- heartbreaking performance by Al Pacino--

I have loved this film since it was released & have it on DVD & Blu-ray. The PQ is fantastic!!!! Anyone looking for a great movie should buy the Blu-ray & not even think twice about it.

I just purchased the extended Brasco blu not long ago but haven't seen it in years... may have to watch it ASAP. Also, I've gotta agree with you on Troy.
