I dont hate them because of hd dvd i have a toshiba 60'' projection and love it but i couldnt see owning a toshi bd player when the ps3 is so great

I need more info such as price is it a BD Live player ect. If your talking about brand loyalty I tend to choose Sony although that is also because most of their products include what i want. MSPD in cam or BD in laptops ect.

There's so many other players to chose from unless your a former HD supporter or are a big fan of Toshiba theres no point really

Hell no. Not after I wasted $1000 on the XA1.

What a piece of junk. The worst electronics purchase I have ever made. I will never buy a Toshiba product again.

The question is illogical. Toshiba and Microsoft are going to concentrate on downloads. Toshiba has already said (the link is in another thread) that upconverting DVD players are as good as Blu-ray.

no i wont. i have the a30 and 4 movies. playback issues with hd dvd was very frustrating. i say "was" cause it just sits there now. maybe ill use it to keep the back door open this summer to let the cool night air in.
