AND.... the word in recent years is that it's ONE.... ONE old studio exec from WB, who's been there for ages, that's holding it back...and everyone else is just respecting his wishes. Plus, some of the younger guard now don't think the film is worth the investment/time/trouble at this point.

Yes sir, I’ve owned it for years. Guess I’m talking a 4K here. Wrong thread? .

The existing Blu-ray of the DC isn’t as good as I’d like either. The film could use a restoration and would benefit from the HDR treatment, IMO.

So the title of the thread is “films least likely to hit Blu-Ray shelves”. So yes, wrong thread. Because as pointed out, the movie is on Blu-Ray. 4K is a different thread.

I know this comment is almost a year old at this point, but the "Ultimate Edition" release of Kingdom of Heaven that Fox put out in 2014 is great, honestly one of the best looking BDs out there. It is basically DI-to-disc.
