Marley & Me hit shelves on March 31 2009

The Super Bowl is upon us so before we shut down from a beer, football and snack coma this weekend, we wanted to pass along a juicy new batch of Blu-ray Disc release date rumors.
Early retailer placeholders are suggesting the Fox catalog comedies Big starring Tom Hanks and There's Something About Mary will arrive on April 28 or March 5. Fox's The Day the Earth Stood Still remake with Keanu "I was born to play this non-emoting part" Reeves is eyeing a March 31 landing date.

Doubt, currently up for numerous Oscars,looks to be on track for an April 7 bow. Another heavily nominated film, The Wrestler, is rumored to hit the street on April 21.

Other rumored release dates include Adam Sandler's Bedtime Stories in early April, Catwoman (2004) on March 10th to tie in with The Batman Anthology set, The Princess Bride on March 17 and Marley & Me on March 31.

Oh, well then my comments on the when the earth stood still thread was incorrect, apparently that one is getting a DVD version as well. Didn't catch this in theaters but def will pick this one up.

I loved this movie in theaters. And I just got my copy, def liking that FOX is following Disney's steps and hitting us with a Digital Copy, DVD, and 1 disc Blu-Ray for one price.

Can't wait to watch it

LOL I'll just tell them to ignore that, they'll go for it. $10 instead of the high $20 price in most stores will get someone to buy it.

i thought about doing the same, through a walmart website error i picked up marley and me for 15 bones, if i could sell the DVD for 5-10 would be pretty sick lol but yeah that whole "NOT FOR RESALE" may turn off some ppl. maybe i'll give it to my niece or something

That's just for the retailers. They can't resell it. But consumers can.

i watched it (the wifey made me!) i didn't like it at all. hard to take owen wilson seriously in a semi-serious role and the dog eats furniture and runs around crashing into stuff, i can watch clips like that on youtube. it's a rental at best and ONLY if you are renting for your significant other =p
