DAMN !!!!!!!!
and I was a little embarrased when I paid $50 for Shooter off of Ebay....I feel real good about myself right about now

This is called authenticating to a server, which is what your pics are doing...

$200 is steep for that movie. If I was you back then I would've probably just bought a DUD player if I was a true fanatic.

The OP's pictures are new and original, but one of the first guys to hoard and make a fortune on a few of these leaked copies had similar pictures starting here: http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...=898162&page=5

Thanks above poster. But its weird how that someone got into my photobucket pics and posted them on here. good thing i didnt have anything bad. Btw, The Invasion pic was from when I found it on a store shelf on January 8th. Not the 29th as it was rescheduled for.

this thread really trailed off.....
anyway, dude you NEED to put that disc back on ebay! If you are lucky you might be able to get half of what you paid for it. At this point most people know about the demise of HD-DVD. And since those blu's were already pressed it won't be long before they are back on the shelves. So its not like your copy will have anything different when it comes back out. Buy low sell high my friend! NOT buy HIGH, can't sell!

To the guy who bought Blades of Glory, what are the bitrates like during the movie? I assume it's an AVC encoding. Other Paramount Blu-ray titles released during that period had optimized encodes so it should look and sound better than the HD DVD.

I can't imagine how much a legitimate Transformers Blu-ray would have gotten in the marketplace(except for test discs I don't believe Paramount had pressed them yet) if only a few copies existed.

This makes me wish I had grabbed it when I had the chance. I saw it at a Circuit City near my house, it was right when I started buying blu-ray and I wasn't aware of studio support, or lack of support. I had it in my hand and i scoffed at the idea of spending $30 on it. (not insulting you, i thought it was funny, but i wouldn't buy it). Kind of wish I had though!

This will all be moot once it's rereleased though.

Nah. I could probably get something back for it, but knowing that I have a copy that is not supposed to exist is neat to me. I dont know, I just would rather keep this one. As for Clark Kent above, my friend has the HD DVD of it, and he himself said that the Blu-ray looked different. I noticed it in some areas of the film (first pair skating together, practicing, etc.). But other than that, he was annoyed that the Blu-ray had uncompressed audio.
