If you wanted you could buy an A20 HD-DVD player and the movie for less than what that's going for

In defense, this is specifically about an eBay listing.

The high bidder must be rich to be able to afford $400 plus, and still have money to buy the crack he is smokeing to want to pay that much in the first place.

if someone could figure out how many copies leaked it would help but its only worth what someone else would pay for it. For me its worth - $13.25 but for some rich collector it could be worth quite a bit just look at the ebay thread.

And even with the player and movie, he is buying a defective piece of hardware and a movie without lossless audio. Id rather have the BD.

I like the comment that you could buy a HD-DVD player + the movie in HD-DVD, for less than the current bid ($510.00). Yes, the bidders obviously have a lot of money to spend, but if you think about this in a different way, maybe they are just making a stand for Blu-ray, that they'd pour those money onto a single Blu-ray movie, when the same amount could afford them a HD-DVD player & library.

I doubt the movie is worth the price, but surely Blu-ray does.
