Naa. Lack of desireable titles is limiting me.

I saw Forbidden Planet is coming out this year. Gonna be awesome.

a lot of the price in the UK is tax, but we also get piss-poor excuses like supplies are hard to get, i think the price must have gone up around 20p in a year. Funny that a 1p rise in a crude = 1p rise in fuel, but a cut doesnt filter out.

I think its time the lorry drivers blocked some refineries again...

The gas prices hasn't affected my hobbies, at least not yet. I saw that my neighborhood Chevron is now charging $3.99 per gallon for premium which I thought was high until I read how much folks outside of the USA are paying for gas.

Gas prices has little effect on my movie buying. I live right next to best buy and where i work... Nonetheless i do have many other expenditures coming up in the near future that are not allowing me to spend money on blu Since I'm not going to go in debt over it, I'll just have a wait a few weeks longer for the movies i would want.

My job allows me to telecommute 3 days a week, but it's getting to the point where current gas prices are almost totaling the same cost as what I used to spend driving in a full week.

But, it's a no-brainer. It's just a matter of shifting my spending around (eating out less one day a week), and making less unnecessary trips and purchases. I'd rather put the money into blu.

30 gallon tank, 14 mpg (15.8 mpg for trips if I'm lucky), a little over $3/gallon for regular unleaded, it's getting somewhat expensive but not enough to affect purchases yet. I'm probably pretty lucky that it's hovering around $3 per gallon here. It's probably higher in other parts of the US. If it goes much higher, I'll probably start driving my car more. It usually gets 18-20 around town but if I drive it nicely and don't get stuck in stop-n-go traffic, I can get in the low 20s with it.

My wife and I spend about $600/mo for gas, and I work from home mostly. Gas prices are the biggest example of unchecked price gouging in the world. I think last year ExxonMobil made like $250 BILLION in one QUARTER. It turns my stomach. /rant

Anyway, yeah, gas prices have forced me to rearrange my budget a bit. Less "slush" money for frivolous purchases... keep the entertainment budget flowing!

PS... anyone who selected "that's what credit cards are for," I hope you're joking. If not, you need help. Today.

come on man if you're going to post information please try and get it right. exxon mobil made 40.1 billion in profits LAST YEAR, not quarter. as americans we pay much less than the europeans for gas. i believe britons pay about $8 for 1 liter which is significantly less than a gallon. now we don't pay as much as others, but as a society we've lost our way.

values don't seem to matter to anyone or anything, we become impatient in the "i need to have it now," world that we've created and we wonder why other countries hate our asses. we become slaves to technology and the man, when we should be slaves to our families.

just an observation that will fall on deaf ear and blind eyes as you don't want to accept the truth.

Exxon made 40 billion? So what? The US government wastes 40 billion without breaking a sweat. At least Exxon actually produces something.

Don't feel sorry for the Europeans. Most of that higher cost is self inflicted (75 to 80% taxes).

Wow quite a statement otherwise. High gas prices = we have lost our way as a society? Quite a leap. Its just gas.

I think the point that was trying to be made is that we continue to consume in high quantities regardless of price because we want/need everything now. I tend to agree, although I'd be a hypocrite if I said I'm not part of the problem. BRING ON THE BLU!!!!

I am with you there. Thats disgusting.

Its like what I see here. Go to the grocery store, and people pay for their food with govt. assistance, but then when the beer is about to get rung up they whip out the cash.
