Its distributed by Alliance here in Canada, there usually never released on street date. I found this out when i couldn't find both Harold and Kumar movies on release day and someone on this board said they come out in a week or so after release.

I remember when i went to Best Buy to pick up Godfather and there was a shelve space with Blow but nothing there, so i asked the sales rep if they had it he said they never received it and should come in about a week or so.

It's showing "in stock" at my local Montreal bestbuy... So I guess they got it.

I wasn't planning on getting it right away but the price is not so bad and I need my fix! :P

For the people that own this title, was there actually a Dolby TrueHD track on the disc? No where does it mention one on the back and on DigitalBits they said WB assured them it would have one...

It has been confirmed multiple times that there is a TrueHD track despite the mislabeling on the back cover.

Yep, there's a TrueHD track

I guess their was a misprint on the back.

Love this movie! It looked pretty nice as well, I'd get it a 3.5 (out of 5)

Awesome! I figured there was some sort of misprint like on The Perfect Storm. And I wonder if it's possible for future WB titles (like Get Smart for instance) to suffer from the same kind of typos.

"Talk about a bump....a 5 year one. Anyway this is another one that is $5.99 at BestBuy right now. I never gotten around to upgrading my DVD of Blow so for $5.99 I will have to do so."

I watched this on my front projector last night and for what is an older transfer, it's not bad at all. Of course, there is a little filtering and EE, but nothing too strong. I would still like to see the movie remastered at some point as it would certainly benefit. And the disc does have Dolby TrueHD indeed.

On any rate, it's a good movie.

Great film and pretty decent transfer!!!! It would be nice if Warner's gave it a fresh scan but I'd give this disc a thumbs up definitely!
