Just because everyone find's them to be classic mean they are classic to someone who doesn't like that type of movies.

There is a lot of stuff, movies/tv I have never seen nor will I want to see either since I know that I would be bored to tears watching them.

I know in my case, it goes without saying that everything I've listed are things that

1. I would enjoy watching
2. I consider a classic (not AFI)
3. I am ashamed of having never watched

I'm not listing things I've never watched that I wouldn't enjoy or don't consider a classic. That list would be something like

1. Dancing with the Stars
2. CSI
3. Survivor
4. High School Musical crap
5. Hannah Montana crap
6. The Blade Trilogy
7. Stargate

as an example :

if you were to asked a lot of women would probably tell you that Sex In The City is a true classic....

I know that I would rather pour acide on my eyes rather than watching that, yet its suppose to be quite good to a lot of people

Finally watched The Lost Boys and I must say that I prefer Shumacher's Batman films over that rubbish. Whoa. . . what am I saying?
Why would I be ashamed to have not watched a movie or TV show?

Why not just watch them if you are "ashamed."

I dont get it.

Like others...

Casablanca
Gone with the Wind
Citizen Kane
The Shining (seen bits and pieces)

However I did just watch 2001: A Space Odyssey for the first time last week and loved it. Bought it the next day

I had never watched Heroes either. Then I bought the Netflix box and season 1&2 was on it. I watched 3-4 episodes a night after work and finished it up just in time for season 3.

LOL apparently, like many women, no one on this site believes in synonyms. When I think of the word ashamed, many words come to mind--such as embarrassed, humiliated, regretful, etc. (I'm picturing my wife right now--"I didn't say I was ashamed, I said I was embarrassed. There's a difference!)

Best drama ever. Period. You cannot officially call yourself a geek if you do not drool over this show.
