Cool Top THREE Blu-ray movies you have watched.

This information is scattered in all the different conversations going on, but how about we start it in one place. What movies would you show to someone who has never seen a Blu-ray movie before? What three would be your top pics to "wow" them.

Remember, only Blu-ray movies you have seen. Not Blu-ray movies you WANT to see.

I've seen Cars - that was pretty cool. So much detail in the animation.

I can't wait to see Casino Royale in Blu.

Cars is simply beautiful, which is why it's in my top three

Just wait until you see the credits sequence for Casino Royale...it was the first thing I ever watched on blu-ray on my projector...it's amazing.

I was surprised by 3:10 to Yuma, it was a blind buy for me...but definitely not something I will ever regret. It's great to see a good western again.

1) Fantastic Four and the Rise of the Silver Surfer
2) Spider-Man Trilogy (yeah, it's a cheat to pick them all)
3) The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

'Course, I haven't watched half the movies in my Blu collection yet.

These are the 3 movies that always generates "oohs and aahs" when I'm showing off demo material to friends...

Cars (for pure perfection)
Sunshine (to demonstrate how a dark film can be mind blowing in high def)
Galapogos (the underwater scenes - need I say more?)

I'd also add The Rock or Con Air to demonstrate how older films should look in high def.

EDIT: Speaking of older films, Blade Runner and Close Encounters... would make good demo material as well. Most of my titles are top tier PQ wise, so I can put on almost any movie and blow people's minds.

Casino Royale (Favorite all-around BD, taking movie quality, PQ, and AQ into acct.)
3:10 To Yuma (7.1 PCM)
Blade Runner (Best restoration yet of any BD movie I've seen)

I could easily switch out any of those w/ Sunshine, though.

Top two for me:

Close Encounters of The Third Kind
2001: A space odyssey

There are a bunch of others I like as well, but not as much as above, i.e.:

Casino Royale
Black Hawk Down
Ratatouille
Apocalypto
Blade Runner

I don't got a huge selection of titles like some members. But if I had to pick three blu's it would be-

1. Troy: Director's Cut

2. Pirates of the Caribbean

3. Disturbia

Yeah, I guess Blade Runner and Close Encounters definitely get honorable mention from me...they are amazing for older movies. Especially Blade Runner

Cars.

The animation and PQ of this movie is absolutely astonishing. I must have watched it five times in four weeks.
