Cheers for the info. Was hoping it would be a mistake.

I'm about to pull the trigger on this but Amazon UK's listing says it's Region 2. Has there been a new pressing, or is this a listing error on Amazon's part?

Seems like a pretty decent price, too.

It's an error on Amazon's part.
Amazon say pretty much all Blu-ray's are Region 2.

Man on Fire is region free

This title listed at Amazon.co.uk says Region 2, yet at this site shows the UK release is Region Free. Which is correct?

It's region free. the slipcover, amaray case and disc all say ABC

Better to rely on a place like this rather than Amazon

Yeah this is indeed very sad. "Man On Fire" is one of my favorite films!

At least he lived a long life. That's always something.

One of my favourite directors. True Romance and The Last Boy Scout are fantastic films. RIP

True Romance, Man On Fire and Revenge are my favourite films of his.

Its tragic that he was suffering from an inoperable brain tumour.

RIP Tony Scott

For 'Man on Fire', extras include:

Audio commentary by Director Tony Scott
Audio commentary by Production – Lucas Foster, Brian Helgeland and Dakota Fanning
Vengeance is Mine: Re-inventing Man on Fire Documentary
15 Deleted Scenes with Optional Audio Commentary by Director Tony Scott
Pita's Abduction: Multi-Angle Sequence with Optional Commentary by Director Tony Scott
Pita's Abduction: Tony Scott's Storyboards (53 stills)
Pita's Abduction: Script Excerpt (8 stills)
Photo Gallery (60 stills)
Music Video: Kinky ‘Oye Como Va'
Theatrical Trailers
I note on DVD Empire's back cover image of the Collector's Edition DVD a reference to a "Never-Before-Seen Alternate Ending with Optional Commentary by Tony Scott." There's no explicit reference to this in the supps list for this U.K. BD release.

However, what is a reference to fourteen deleted scenes on the DVD is fifteen above. I'd just like to make sure that the alternate ending got rolled into the deleted scenes. Can someone with the U.K. MOF BD confirm please?

The alternate ending is part of the deleted scenes section on both the Blu-ray and DVD.

FWIW the Scott family released a statement saying this is not true.

I have it in my LoveFilm rental list but I am tempted to just go ahead and blind buy at that price Sam.
Edit:The temptation got the better off me,I just ordered it.
