I do too, guess they wanted to wrap up Shrek first, can you imagine if Puss also gets a 4 film franchise?

So Dreamworks couldn't come up with their own music, they had to rip off the Pirates theme?

I don't know, some funny bits but it all seemed a bit forced.

We are taking the boys to see this today. My 2 year old laughs at the trailer. So hopefully he sets through the whole thing.

this was insanely fun ... and in 3D even better! The pop references aren't like the ones in the Shrek movies where you feel like you are being hit in the head with a frying pan. major

That sounds great! We'll pass on the 3D, but I'm glad the movie is solid. Should be a fun family film.

I have a feeling that this isn't going to be as big of a hit as the 4 Shrek movies. But it was still good in a very odd sort of way. Puss in Boots is still as memorable as he was 7 years ago.

Puss in Boots opened to 34m for the weekend. Kind of decent and 100m is pretty much a certainty, but this might be the lowest Dreamworks Animation opener in a very long time.

It was fun. Not very kid-friendly. Seemed like it was geared more towards adults. I didn't mind it at all. Went to see it with my girl. The 3-D was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed it.
