I dislike digibooks for the same reasons others have mentioned but it won't stop me from purchasing this movie.

The books are neat but not my taste... I wish Warner would give Blu-ray owners a choice.

Oh man not another dumb book!

I may just import this and Batman Returns from the UK since they are region free discs and will play on any Blu-Ray player.

On the promo ad, it mentions that the Digital Copy is for viewing on PCs and Portable Media Devices, so that means no itunes/ mac compatibility?

Cause I'm starting to get sick of this, me being a huge Apple fan, how Warners seems to always be screwing up on this. Hasn't there been an agreement that all Digital Copies were to be both itunes and windows media compatible. If not there should be, cause what's next: why not start releasing titles on Blu-ray that'll only work with certain brand name players.

So, if I knew the digital copy would work, I'll buy in a heartbeat, but right now I'm gonna be a bit cautious and check the prices and everything. Nice to see it as a digibook, I still don't have any of those in my collection, but they sure look nice in the stores- Matrix will be my first next month, then possibly this, and I'm hoping the long awaited for release of The Goonies comes in one too, which I hear is a possibility.

Might end up getting this and importing the UK version of Batman Returns.

I really don't care for the third and fourth films, but I was going to buy the Anthology anyways..

YAYYYYY

I will be getting the anthology, but since it will be in one big box I will be getting this too as a single. I would love to put it next to "The Shawshank Redemption"... I hope RETURNS also gets this "Coffee Book" style case. I dont really mind if Forever and Robin has this style. I just hope Returns get this style..It would be lovely to put it next to Shawshank and Batman =]

P.S. Twenty years from now, I can imagine myself getting a TDK Anniversary edition ... I will be 35 years old

I love the digibook series. They are innovative, filled with pictures and interesting text, attractive and highly collectable.

Even though I have The Matrix box set, I will get The Matrix digibook. Same here with the Batman anthology and Batman digibook.

Digibook list
========
Bonnie and Clyde
Natural Born Killers
Dirty Harry
How The West Was Won
One Flew Over The Cuckoos Next
Poltergeist
JFK
Shawshank Redemption
Amadeus
The Matrix (release date: March 24, 2009)
Batman (release date May 5, 2009)
Falling Down (release date May 26, 2009)

Link with photos to most digibooks (thanks to Morphine):
