Maybe worth a shot in the Netflix Queue? Give it another go and let us know your opinion.

I enjoyed the movie a lot, but Julia had no business being Tinker Bell.

I hear Julia Roberts feels the same way. She was on Oprah or something and was asked about it.[/QUOTE]

I hated her boy-haircut in the movie.

So am I the only one? Or does the majority hate it?
Steven Spileberg himself considers it the least of his movies. It's true.

Hated it. Started well, but I pretty much checked out when the lost boys started flying around on skateboards.

I would buy the s*** out of this movie. I saw this four times in the theater when I was ten and wore out a VHS copy. The DVD is pretty disappointing, but I still go back and watch it every now and then. Definitely a release day pickup for me.

The same Spielberg that made Indy 4?

If that's the case, it must be the greatest movie he's ever made.

P.S. they also have an extra grain edition in the works for REAL movie lovers.

The same Spielberg that made Temple of Doom, Last Crusade, and Crystal Skull. There hasn't been a sequel to Raiders of the Lost Ark that hasn't been seriously lacking in one department or another.

You don't expect Michael Jordan to sink every basket, you don't expect Tiger Woods to win every tournament -- Shakespeare and Mozart didn't bat 1000 -- 3 out of every 4 songs on the Beatles' Rubber Soul album are forgettable, 95% of the latest U2 album is a wash -- why do people hold directors to some sort of standard of 100% perfection, especially when so many variables are oft-times out of their control? Heaven help the artist who is constrained by such an impossible standard...those are the people who wind up writing one great book, or directing only one film...they can't live up to your expectations and they become creatively stillborn.

I thought the entire movie was depressing an unfunny. I saw it on video many years ago, before the DVD. Kids see things differently than adults do. There have been a couple movies that I loved when I was younger and now I can't bear to watch them. I never did like this movie, but maybe if I saw it when I was younger I might have liked it, but the fact is I was in my 20s when this was released in the theaters. Another movie that I don't understand the love for is Monster Squad. I saw it when it originally came out and hated it, saw if again a few months ago and still feel the same way.

While it might not be his strongest film I LOVE it! (Like everything else he has done, as many of you have noticed. lol)

I thought it was very entertaining and as a children's fantasy film, it really works in my opinion. I can see grown ups hating the picture but every child I have seen it with loves the film. I hope the blu comes out soon!

I kind of know how you feel, especially about Monster Squad. I used to love it and would watch it any time it came on cable but seeing it now it has lost some of its charm for me. Maybe its because I have grown up. Back in the day though, I loved it and laughed every time. Heck, I thought Dracula looked cool, and even scary in the film. Go figure.

"You are the Pan" from the soundtrack is beautiful. And any movie starring Phil Collins and Jimmy Buffett can't be all bad.....

I am impressed with this poll. I thought this post would generate a lot of hate for this film.
