Watchmen, as originally printed, was a 12 issue mini-comic series yes, but now its a graphic Novel.

GN does not = Comic book.

Graphic Novels do indeed equal comic books.

It's still a video game movie.

One wouldn't lump Bloodrayne in as a comic book movie. At the same time someone wouldn't say that Stranglehold is just a video game and wasn't based on a movie first.

Let's see, comic book artists, comic book writers, pictures AND text written together like a comic book.

That would certainly not make it a regular novel.

Exactly. The term "Graphic Novel" is just the highbrow nerd word for "Comic Book".

They're trying to somehow elevate it above just the average comic book.

While I don't necessarily agree with 1-4, Wanted was right where it should be: at the very bottom.

I would swap Iron Man and Hulk, but otherwise it was a great year for Comic Book Movies

Wanted. VERY loosely based on the comic book.

6 issues later compiled in Graphic Novel form.

graphic novel
n.
A novel whose narrative is related through a combination of text and art, often in comic-strip form.

comic book
n.
A book of comics strips or cartoons, often relating a sustained narrative.

Looks like a red delicious Apple and a golden delicious Apple.
