Yeah, it seems the Workprint leak did not really effect it. It did good.

The big question is how much more will it be able to make? Star Trek next week, Angels & Demons the next, Terminator & Night At The Museum the next, Up the next...and it goes on.

Fairly impressive that it made $87 million. I think there will be a huge drop off next weekend though, 60% or more IMO.

Called it. Dropped 68% from last weekend. Only made $27 million this weekend.

Just saw the box office myself. That's a huge drop off. That's even worse than X3 and that was movie was bad. So far Wolverine is doing worse than all three X-men movies at the box office, that's not a good sign. At this rate, it will be lucky just to cross the $200m mark. Sure, Wolverine wasn't a great movie, but it was at least fun and entertaining(7.5 to me) and was better than X3. X3 making more money than Wolverine is an injustice. lol

Yeah, but it's doing much better overseas. It's going to be over $250 million total after today. X3 had the same drop off (67%) and still brought in $234 million domestic

I think Wolverine will have a lot of repeated viewings from the X-Men fanbase. It will be profitable.

It will.

It was at $200 million world wide on Thursday. It'll probably make around $400 million world wide then it'll have home video revenues on top of that.
