Thanks for the help. There's a few on e-bay including the black case so I might just go with that. I think from now on I'll stick to Amazon and going in store. I would understand not having a slip if it's been a while since the release date but its only been a week and I pre-ordered the movie.

Yeah I usually go the in-store route just to make sure. These superhero movie blu rays are my only real "collection". The other movies I have just sit in a cd/dvd organizer, so the cases don't matter much to me. A word of caution though - I've read that some members who ordered from Amazon didn't get a slip either.

Yeah for the most part I don't care about slipcovers but when it's a series or collection where I have the slip for every other entry then yeah I want it.

I just watched this in 3D for the first time and it was a lot of fun! Definitely worth picking up!

I was at Walmart today and all the blu's were gone. They had a handful of DVD's left yet.

No, it was longer than 2 days. I pre-ordered mine about a month before release date and it was $19.99. It was $19.99 up until about Monday or Tuesday.

I pre-ordered the Ant-Man 3D Combo pack from Best Buy several weeks ago, and it got delayed in the mail. I finally received it this morning, and so.. I felt like getting a complete view of my MCU collection. I've been lucky enough to get the most complete version, of each individually released installment; thus far. Each title has its respective slipcover, and original colored case (where applicable).

Love this franchise!

This is probably the most entertaining Marvel movie yet. Most likely due to Edgar Wright's existing material. Such a fun, clever little movie.

Well, I guess it was the last Marvel 3D release not to make it thru release week at the $19.99 price. The 3D Steelbooks were $27.99 on release day and still sold out in some stores. I guess I wouldn't be surprised if future Marvel 3D releases start out at $22.99 to $24.99 in the future (not terribly expensive for a Disney distributed release, but still higher than what we're used to).

I guess the lesson of this week's unexpected price change is to preorder anyway when its a low price, especially if you can return it in store.

I'm hoping this was just a fluke and they'll continue to remain $19.99. I'll be really disappointed if they wind up going up in price, though admittedly I would likely still end up buying them.

I remember the Thor: The Dark World steelbook was $22.99 on release week. And Iron Man 3 in 3D was also more than $20 on release week. So really, it's only been Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man that have been $20 for the 3D. It hasn't been a trend for very long, but hopefully it continues.

It's been all films since Iron Man 3. Iron Man 3 had a Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD/Digital release. Starting with Thor: The Dark World, it went to only 3D Blu-ray/Blu-ray/Digital packs, and the regular version of that was $19.99. So all releases after Iron Man 3, that went with only 3d Blu-ray/Blu-ray/Digital HD have been $19.99 release week. Hopefully it will continue like that.

I got my copy from Amazon a few days ago. I was disappointed it came in a blue case instead of the black like in all the pictures.

Love this franchise!
Wow! Seeing them all laid out together in one picture like that is pretty amazing. It's very cool to think of. When you realize just how few franchises get 12 stories in them while remaining extremely successful as a whole...

It will be really interesting to see how long it can all sustain itself. Is it going to fizzle out, end on a high note (yeah right) or literally go on for decades? It will be super interesting to see.

Is 2 days not enough. Pre-order early and Amazon will drop to that price during those 2 days. Also it was more than 2 days. It was the price for a while like a month before release and then it was that price again for a couple days before release date.

I agree completely. Captain America: Civil War looks to continue the trend, and the entire Phase 3 lineup has got me stoked to see the MCU grow!

Cool to see. So far, 8 out of their 12 films being good is not a bad batting average overall.
