I realize this is probably a stupid question, but did they number them? More than likely not hand-numbered but curious if they at least had a printed number on them somewhere, or something saying how many were printed.

One thing you should do when you actually "go" to their retail store is compare the images online to what the actual poster is. Obviously seeing them in-person helps you out, but sometimes they are have in the past put up an image I have heard from others that doesn't match up the actual poster they have. This is something some sellers do when they don't have a particular image of a certain poster. For example right after the Blade Runner: Final Cut 2007 style came out, it was a tad bit hard finding an image at first so some resorted to using the mini-San Diego Comic Con freebie version since the artwork technically was the same, but the credits were placed differently and the hot pink Struzan signature didn't appear on the theatrical one, only the giveaway mini-version.

Another example is The Avengers final style, since the domestic and international featured the same artwork, was the same size, and both came double-sided, the differences were the actual date on the domestic and "In Cinemas Soon" on the international, so sometimes even those small details can go unnoticed. Thanks, a tad bit too cartoon-ish for me, much prefer Ledger's Joker over Nicholson's version or the TV show, but you can't go wrong with Joker from Batman The Animated Series. I just started my Batman sketchbook, I have one for The Crow, but wanted to start a Batman (and probably other villains) one. I get professional comic artists, many of whom I am lucky to call "friends" to do them at various shows, etc.

Agree. Really love Jocks Joker from the Detective series as well as the Dark Knight returns part 2. Those are my favorites. The animated series takes me back to being a kid and watching them as soon as I got home from school.

I remember buying Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns mini-series when they first came out, then was very fortunate to be introduced to Miller at a convention he technically wasn't at, and he signed them for me. He is a pretty rare signature now, so I can't seem to part with them. I loved the Batman Animated Series, I was in my early 20's when they first aired, I am lucky to own that out of print boxed set of them all, so many counterfiets out there on eBay, and elsewhere of them now.

I just received shipping confirmation for my Englert "It's a Dinosaur" print...yeah, I'm ultra excited.

No numbers on mine either. The prints were handed out straight from the shipping carton at the theatre after the movie. I would guess that there were 100 prints in the carton, x the 231 theaters in the promotoin would equal 23,100 prints produced. They appear to be inkjet prints on photo paper, probably the quickest way to run off that large a number of prints.

They are Lithographs. Almost the same as inkjet though

I like dans work. There's so much going on this month that I have to scale off everything into need or just want/cool category. Had to pass on this mornings Englert drop in anticipation of next weeks HCG exhibit.
