Yup..same here too! My local Target didn't stock the Migration 4K which I wanted and ultimately ended up getting both 4K UKDs from my local Wally World

New release titles don't seem to show up on the shelve at my nearest store for several days, even though the website says they have them, but when they do show up it's only a couple copies.

Also, my Target told me that even though the website states that a particular Blu-ray is in stock, they might not have any at all as Shoplifting is rampant and stated inventory doesn't match up to actual reality!

Yeah, I've seen the occasional movie every now and then that's been opened and the digital copy and/or disc is missing.

Same. The media guy says they didn’t get them in yet.

This post-BB world is pretty bad for physical media. B&N has the best selection around me now - new release prices are actually competitive, 30% off plus the membership 10% and you get stamps.

Well, I feel dumb. Early this morning I got a shipping notification for Black Tight Killers. So I worried for nothing.

It's just that I find it useful from time to time when other people post about their orders so I figure talking about my order experience might help someone out there going through something similar.

I just got an email this morning from Target that my Darkman 4k is still backordered and delayed another week to March 19.Which will make it almost a month late.

They're asking me to approve the new delay.I'm tired of this.Everyone else got their orders from other retailers weeks ago.I think I'm canceling my order and re-ordering it at Amazon.I hate that i have to lay out the money again since I use gift cards and Target will just credit back that gift card. Does me no good having to order elsewhere but I'm done waiting.

From Target's website:

We do a systematic price check when a Pre-order item is ready to be shipped. At the time of shipment, we will invoice you for the exact price of the item. In the event that the Pre-order item happens to be on sale when we invoice you, we will charge you the current sale price. However, if the price of a Pre-order item is lowered after you placed the order but then goes back up again by the time the item ships, the system won’t automatically invoice you for the lowest price.

But, yeah, the price of my pre-order went down and I was charged less.

I understand your frustration. Target sales can get you good deals but Target can also be a crapshoot sometimes.

I just found out about all the new Disney + shows getting physical releases and all coming out on the same day.I don't even know if I can afford to re-buy this at Amazon now. I may have to let it ride a little longer and hope it eventually comes.
