Probably not for this sale but it can tide people over for any sales between now and the Christmas/Black Friday Target gift card discount.

Also, the difference is close to 9.5 percent. Example with flat numbers: buy $100 gift card for $90 with Target Circle credit card, get $4.50 back in Target Circle rewards (Target discounts the value of the gift card based on a $90 purchase instead of a $100 purchase.) Instead of getting 5% back on $100 spent (normal purchase with Target Circle credit card 5% back), then assuming you use the gift card you're getting back 14.5% back by using the gift card and Target Circle rewards balance.

You don't get 5% on your Target RedCard buying giftcards. That's always been the case.

I suppose you do get an extra 5% if you buy the GCs since it's 10% off, but IMHO not worth it if what you're looking for is sold out by then.

I browsed through the 4Ks and couldn't find anything in my $10-ish price range. I'll start checking the BDs next. I noticed the newest Disney+ 4K steelbook preorders are $55.99 before B2G1F at Target vs. $44.99 before B1G60% off at DMC. I thought DMC's $44.99 was the MSRP.

As I recall, to find preorders you simply sort by newest date, right?

For the Target Circle Bonus a 'qualifying purchase' is defined as: "A 'qualifying purchase' is a purchase made after you activate the offer that meets the minimum purchase threshold. Your purchase qualifies after automatic Target Circle deals are applied but before other discounts and coupons. Taxes, fees, and tips do not count toward the minimum purchase."

Is the bold part new? I noticed that on the webpage the buy 2 get 1 free deal is defined as a "Target Circle Deal" that is "auto-applied" as shown below so does it mean that the amount they are looking at for the minimum purchase threshold is now after the buy 2 get 1 free is taken in account?

Thanks for pointing out and noticing this. I think it's new because I would've been worried about the same issue with B2G1F if I had seen such text. Given how almost all good deals get shut down eventually, it would not surprise me to find out Circle offers now apply after B2G1F. Someone will have to try it and let us know what happens.

I received a $10 TC rewards with $80 purchase offer; I placed an order of ~$130 a bit ago. All of the items are set to ship during this week (offer period) so I should get credit toward my offer and receive the $10 reward. I just mention that they should all ship this week, as I think there’s been some question whether future preorders count toward current TC offers. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure enough items have to ship now during the current TC offer period for your order to credit toward the current TC offer. Hope I have that correct?

I’ll post an update for those who are curious if/when my order applies toward my TC offer. Sorry about the novel of a post everyone; I’m usually a wordy person! Lol

Also, others are mentioning getting a 10% Off Storewide discount, but I don't see it offered.

I mean that makes sense. It should be on the amount you pay, not the amount before a discount is applied. If that were the case before, then it makes sense that Target fixed it.

Discounts like this are typically always based on what you spend. Also note that giftcard payments don't count, either, and I'm pretty sure that's always been the case for Target Circle rewards.

Anyways, glad to see the B2G1 back though this is not good for my wallet. These sorts of sales are becoming fewer/far between.

I can't disagree with Target wanting to handle it that way now, but it's a new twist considering that I've made dozens of purchases over the last 5 years or so where the total before discounts applied.

I don't believe this has been the case in the past. Pretty sure I've used many gift cards to pay for orders and still received TC rewards. When you use a gift card, you do lose out on the Red Card 5% discount though.

For the reward you have to make purchases that ship before April 13th. There should be a thing in that app that shows the progress of your qualifying orders.

I have $10 off $60. There must be a glitch because I tried various items and the $10 discount does not apply.

Is it $10 off a $60 purchase or more than likely: a $10 reward after a $60 purchase. So you’ll have $10 credit later after the items ship for future purchases.
