I'm wondering if Amazon will even bother lowering the price on this when they receive it, its not a regular release they can get more of when stock runs out.

That, and they may not have a 2 unit limit on copies, making this sure to sell out in no time at all with people buying extras to sell.

Besides, aren't most Scream Factory titles on Amazon full price?

I feel the same way. I could not take a chance and miss this so I preordered the Limited Edition Set

Ordered my copy earlier today and it looks like I got somewhere around the 1300th.
How do you know that your somewhere around 1,300th?

$18.99 shipping to Canada, no thank you I'll just wait for amazon.ca to offer the pre-order... As long as it doesn't sell out before then.

I was thinking the same... Until they sold a fifth of their stock in under 24 hours. As it stands, I'm not missing out on this no matter what. For all the complaining going on about the price here and elsewhere well, they've provided a cheaper option so ante up or shut up.

My order number is 83612, but after reading more about it I realize that the additional 312 on top of the 83300 isn't exclusively Night breed units but Shout Factory units in general. My mistake. So it could be low 1100s for all I know.

Sorry if this has been answered, but... Since the first 1,000 copies of "Nightbreed" are now sold out, does that mean that the rest of the copies won't ship two weeks earlier? Like, do only the first 1,000 ship early? Just curious.

Thanks!

Just how good is Nightbreed of a movie? Noone seems to be talking about that. What kind of movie is it? What others are like it? I honestly haven't heard about it until about a year or two ago when there was talk of Scream releasing this.

To me, it isn't an incredible film or anything. I mean, I like it and it's a fun watch, but it's not incredible. More than anything, in my opinion, its more of a visual spectacle than anything else.

I'd be a little surprised if the rest sells out at quickly. Usually with these things there's a huge initial surge from the hardcore collectors and scalpers and then the rest trickles down. It's not like Twilight Time where the limited edition is the only one.

There are already listings on eBay, auction style, where the price is up to over $150 already. A BIN took place for $200 as well.

That's true, but both listings I mentioned also make it blatantly clear that the ones sold are from the first 1,000 so there is indeed some value in that for some people. The only other one listed on eBay, listed at $250 BIN right now, also mentions it is from the first 1,000 as well.

But yeah, it's mostly them preying on the uninformed I'm sure.

It also costs more to do smaller quantity runs, plus the licensing fees hold more relevance for the LE, as do the newly produced special features.

You do realize it is going to be listed on Amazon.com in the upcoming weeks...probably in the $50-$60 range.... right? From what it looks like Shout Factory is going to be able to sell at least 2,000 of these for $80 a pop and once it get's on Amazon.com the people who are waiting for a lower price are going to jump on it asap.
