He does have a point, though -- I think you could catch up via TBS alone -- I think it plays 4-6 episodes twice a week, in order usually. But it might not be up to the last 2 seasons yet.

In any event, I hear ya on the toddler front! I have 2, and if I didn't have a DVR, I'd barely watch any shows.
what does liking Netflix or not have to do with anything? the guy said he wanted to see the earlier episodes and they are not available on Netflix, so I pointed out a simple solution.
No, no DVR. We gave up those and went down to basic cable once we started up with Netflix. $20 bucks is better than the $100+ for cable. Which is why I'm hoping to see this show on it by next season. Syndication isn't a option and sometimes unreliable in my area since it is played multiple times and not in order.

It is a sitcome, so for the most part order is not all that important (it is not like a sope opera or Lost or Once upon a time..... where yopu can't follow what is happening if tou miss episodes.

As for cable/PVR I don't get your point, why can't you use basic cable and a PVR? Also I don't have cable (or sat) so 0$ a month and I have 2 PVRs and a PC with a Tuner so I can record 4 shows at the same time (one PVR is dual tuner) and before that it was VCRs.

First of all, don't talk to me like I'm a ****ing teenager. Secondly, I don't have that equipment. When kdawq brought up PVR's I assumed he meant DVR. My mistake, but I don't plan on picking one up. Thirdly, my viewing habits are not your concern. While it is a sitcom, it is a serialized one now. Anyway, I've stated my case, end of story, alright?

I was never talking down to you but after that tantrum , I would say you act more like a 2 year old than a teen ager. I just pointed out a simple free option that you might not have known. As for PVR/DVR, I still have no idea what you are talking about. A PVR (personal video recorder) and a DVR (Digital video recorder) are two acronyms used for the same thing (a device that records video onto a HDD as a digital file) , a cheap VCR could also do the job.

Back on topic. Was this last week a repeat or a new one? We went on vacation and I forgot it was on and missed it.

My DVR didn't record, so it must have been a repeat.

Current new episodes:

3/29
4/5
4/26
5/3
5/10
5/17

but I think something is off though since they only have 5 new episodes left and 6 new weeks listed...we'll see. I'm guessing 4/5 won't be new.

While Leonard Nimoy will be heard and not seen when he guest stars on next week episode of CBS' The Big Bang Theory, CBS has released a pair of photos of his time on the set of the hit comedy.

The Star Trek icon -- aka Sheldon's (Jim Parsons) hero -- will voice a role as Spock in the episode but won't appear on-screen. In the meantime, the show's dream guest paused to take photos with the cast, which were released Friday.

"I thoroughly enjoyed myself," the Star Trek legend tells The Hollywood Reporter. "[They're] a talented company and a smart show; they made me welcome."

STORY: Leonard Nimoy Beams Into CBS' 'The Big Bang Theory'

Nimoy has been at the top of the producers' wish list for guest stars, as Sheldon's obsession with Star Trek has been well documented on the series, with the famed Nimoy-signed napkin Penny (Kaley Cuoco) gave Sheldon framed on the set. "Amazing!" Nimoy said of seeing the set piece.

"For years, we thought it would be fantastic to have Leonard Nimoy appear on the show and we think we’ve found a really different and fun way to make that happen," executive producer Steve Molaro told THRat the time of the casting. "As thrilled as we are he's doing it, we're even more thrilled just to get our pictures taken with him.”

It was nice to be able to sit down and watch a episode and what a nice one to sit down too. I had the Mego Enterprise and all of the bridge crew and a Klingon when I was a kid, but I had to look up that transporter playset. Since I had never heard of it before. I know if I told my Trek collector buddies they'd have a good laugh on that

Well if that episode with Sheldon's barber was any indication, I should be just fine buying season 5 on DVD since it looks like the show is just as funny as ever.

Yes and just remember Sheldon is obliged to agree Amy due to her being his girlfriend. And Sheldon does know how to drink tea.

Last night was a riot.... gf and I loved how Sheldon is understanding the social convention of being in a relationship. Levar Burton was the kicker in the end. "I still get lunch, right?"
