I'm SO pissed and sad that I didn't have the money to buy a timed edition.

I REALLY hope it's a huge print run and people sell them on ebay @ cost.

If you're willing to wait I would bet a fair amount of money that you will be able to land one for pretty much cost in 6 months to a years time. The TDKR timed editions can be found for cost pretty easily these days.

Exactly and since they don't ship until the end of July none are in hand now so technically you only would have to wait five months. But I bet you'll be able to find at cost way before six months

What a bunch of crap that was. Got all the way to the last stage of checkout and GONE!! The whole process was like 20 seconds, seriously. Total waste of time and just reaffirmed why I don't participate in Mondo drops anymore. The whole "at a random time" is so ridiculous now. Just set a time for Christs sake. Crap sells in under a minute regardless. Why make us waste half a day?
The view ain't worth the climb. I'd rather have the official regular double sided one sheet of a movie anyways. I'm guessing it's all computers doing this and then the buyer puts on ebay for ridiculous amounts. The same people getting the Mondo's over and over and over again.

Hey all, I've been lurking in this thread for months now and I've picked up a ton of great info.

I have a question for you fine folks - I just bought a few things (delivered today, so excited to get home and take a look) and I'm planning to frame them. After they've flattened back out from being in the tube, do you have any advice on transporting them to the framer? I'd hate to roll them back up again to get them there. Thanks!

I do not flatten my posters, i just bring them in a tube to the framer. I do not think it is necessary to flatten them first, your framer will do that for you.

The only risk with doing this is that your framer may not wait as long as you to wait for your poster to get fully flat. Attempting to frame something that still wants to curl can lead to trouble down the road... if you have a good frame though I would say the risk is very low... depending on who you get if you go the 'Michaels' route or another discount framer may add some risk.

If you are talking full sized theatrical posters 27x40 +/- then you could always transport them in between a couple of pieces of foam board held together with clips... if you are talking 24x36 or less you could look at a portfolio... if you are getting the print straight the framers after flattening a short trip in a tube may not cause excessive curling and the framer would hopefully get it out of the tube asap.

Welp no gold Variant for me on Marko Manevs Mutants. Surely thought being ##01 woulda helped oh well. They did get me a number 15 which is awesome as it matches the others I have.

Jocks APs came to and there was the IMAX Ironman 3 in there. Quite a nice hual for a Monday. Four posters now just need the Its a Dino from Englert and I think I'll be content for awhile.

I don't think Mark Englert has even begun sketching the IT'S A DINOSAURS so who knows how long it will be?

He has SO many posters to ship between IT'S A DINOSAUR and the ANCIENT ONE. Let alone the sketches!

I thought we had decided it was just for bragging rights? Maybe next time we could do some sort of prize. I dont believe Mondo has officially announced the print run yet...or have they?

Based on a post over on eb a late purchase seemed to mean a run in the 6k range. How they were basing that of an order I'd ill never know... Just what I read.

Oh wow, 6k would be surprising. Then again TDK had a little more 'incentive' with the golden ticket.

Hopefully nothing good drops this week

I think people have talked about that with regards to past prints, thinking their order number has something to do with how many prints are made. Its all speculation, I'd be quite surprised if the print run was 5000, especially that people started reselling them right away and that resulted in some sales at three times the regular price, which may have meant some ordered several prints, and once an order was placed, they could not cancel it.

They're comparing the earliest order number when it went on sale to the latest order number before it was pulled. Since this was the only print they were selling (minus the 130 metals) it should give a general idea of the number sold.
