There is a site called 411posters.com you should check out, they cover releases from all over the place. They don't sell but link to the various sites that do.

Hi folks,

I want to publicly thank a member here named househead for recommending french cleats to hang my stuff on a slope.

It took me long enough to get around to it but I bought my first set last week and my 16x20 Ant Lucia Leia print has been hanging safely...on a slant ever since.

Thumbs up to you brother and thank you.

Are you referring to limited edition screen prints such as what Mondo offers, or do you mean original theatrical movie posters that you see in movie theaters?

Can you guys recommend a place that can make sturdy wooden non permanent poster frames?? (27x40)

I need something I can screw into.

If you go to michaels, can they make frames that you can swap posters in and out of?

Sounds like you want something similiar to a light box frame as you would find in a movie theater. Those have a key opening and allows the employee to unlock, take the poster out and then place a new poster inside. There are a few members here who have light boxes, some home made, some purchased online, but that is what it sounds like what you want. I am sure if you Google "movie theater light box frame" you will get some good hits, but they can be quite expensive.

Thanks. The quality is pretty awesome on this piece and it's my first metal

Very happy it arrived in mint condition. I thought it would be easier to move around than a print but it's not

Try the "Trend Setters" frames from Michaels. You can get them for around $20 if you use their weekly coupon. They also go on sale for 40% off. If you don't like them you can order your own frames for a place like Frame Fit. Then you have to buy your own glass and backing.

Just received my 2nd timed-release poster of Man of Steel today! Wasn't expecting it as I haven't even received a shipping notice for it.

Now I have oodles of Poster Tubes in my walkin closet, and no posters hanging on my walls yet I'm too cheap to buy frames. lol

If at all possible you want to get those posters out of the tubes and get them flattened. I'm not speaking from experience here but it has been recommended to me by people I trust that the prints belong flat.

movieposter.com sells a lot of mini-posters for older movies, I don't think they really do new movies in that format. You can search the posters by dimensions.

this thread has really gone dormant. is everyone burnt out? between mondo and the 50 other places releasing movie prints every week i can see why.

too much of a good thing? for me yes. kinda bored with it now plus 4 walls fill up quickly and none of the newer stuff is good enough to take its place.

i digress.

that doesn't answer the question: where have all the one-sheeters been?

Generally August-October is pretty thin with new exciting movie posters, because its the end of summer and rarely are there any huge blockbusters until November. Once that time comes around we will start to see some teasers for next summer's films. Yeah Mondo has been pumping out prints left and right, that is no surprise, they have added a ton of new artists, which in some ways kind of leaves out the older artists they had.

Funny I was just trying to get a poster in a frame.
For me- I have to stop buying posters till Dec or next year. So I've banned myself because I've spent WAY too much money on posters this year. I come around and look to see what's up on the forum but I cant buy anything. I'm actually about to sell a few screen prints. I've noticed the savings.

My focus has been on framing the past year. I've picked up a few prints here and there but overall this has been a light year for me compared to the last few. I need to get what I have on my walls.
