I saw this comparison by I don’t know who. No idea to its accuracy or authenticity but would suggest a different encode for the Euro version…

But, clearly, no one has ever said this.
I'm aware you're being facetious, but "mimetic perfection to what it looked like on 35mm in 1993." has nothing to do with this argument.
The matter is Universal, as JohnCarpenterFan perfectly said:

"I mean Universal released this thing on UHD in 2018 with a CRT-era magenta grade; what the hell were they thinking? That is something that should never have happened in the first place"

Which is perhaps the single most hilarious goof I can recall happening in the Home-Video world.

Issue isn't it being "incorrect", but simply ghastly looking for some.
I do admit I find it a little degrading to see those who appreciate and have no issue with that kind of grade throwing shade at others who are simply informing and, politely, humbly, and respectfully, asking for something better.

It is a lovely shot.

Understandable. Although not really complicated in this case:
There is Jurassic Park seen in theatres and depicted all over the countless merchandise from 1993, film magazines or CineFex, and there is the common telecine-presentation we got on VHS, LaserDisc, DVD, Blu-Ray and UHD x2.

Two very different and distinctive presentations, and it's certainly amusing how the latter was originally never even intended to deviate from the former to begin with.
The same exact media going from a calibrated OLED screen to HDCRT magically turns into a somewhat faithful, and much better looking, representation of the depicted movie.

https://fanrestore.com/thread-3228.html

But if all the other classics subjected to this kind of butchering were then, one by one, rectified with competent gradings, restorations and remasters appropriate for modern technology, this one didn't.
Excluding its 3D release which in its intended format is a spectacle, to this day the only version supervised by Spielberg.

This was 12 years go however, we then actually went backwards. And we're supposed to not care.
Or care a little less.. or perhaps see the glass half full, or maybe be appreciative of what we're given.. or whatever we're supposed to be doing.

Except, to go along with its dreadful grading, it clearly also does have both sharpening and DNR, severely impacting the 6 minutes of VFX shots.. arguably the most exciting from entire movie.

Shots noticeably more plagued by EE and DNR in the 2018 UHD than in JP3D.

And these are, relatable to a certain degree, personal reasons to support both the new product and viewpoint. They are just not above others reasons to do the opposite.

I am confident those who complained endlessly to Universal about Gladiator's first BD release also felt compelled to go "You're welcome", when those satisfied with higher resolution and better compression than the DVD got the breathtaking brand new OCN LaserPacific scan.

I don't personally find necessary to show up for yet another flawed version of one of the most notorious films in history, head of one of the most remunerative franchises ever made, to motivate Universal. But we can agree to disagree.

Well, it is certainly not the case with JPIII.

More yellow-colored flames, indeed. More cyan, not actually the case at all. Equivalent night shots from the trailer, finale included, exhibit significantly more magenta than the print.

All correct.
