Regardless of the stickered clearance price, it’s worth checking on the in-store price checker.

People have reported Green Day Saviors was stickered $18 but scanned $8

The Celine Dion I bought scanned $12

Yeah, this has been going on since at least late 2022 for the most part even though there seems to have been some more sub $10 dips again recently. It's also worth checking out multiple Targets if you're around them as people seem to be getting wildly different prices at times from different stores. Hardly anything is ever on clearance from my local but when I go out of town i've found several with some great markdown prices.

I mostly replied to echo your sentiment about using the in-store checker though as none of the albums I have found had the right price on it either so grab a hand full and hope for the best! I wish UO would do something like this again as they had a small period where a ton of there albums would scan for $1-2 and i'd surprise even the Employees

Pricing a single LP of barely 30-35 minutes of music at $39.99 during release week is asinine, bubblegum pink in color or not. No wonder some of these get cleared out by retailers after several months.

I will say some of the pricing is based on the amount of pressing plants available which contributes to the cost.

I would just like to give a big hearty **** YOU, to Target. I pre-ordered the Twister 4K steelbook long ago with them and they have just been delaying it for almost a month now and i noticed that Amazon had it to but was temporarily out of stock. So i took the chance and placed an order and they never even had a chance to give me a ship date because even though they said they were out of stock, they shipped my movie last night after only 24 hours and i have it today, thanks Amazon! **** Target!

Target is horrible with popular pre-orders! That sucks.

I’m still haven’t received Man From Uncle 4k yet. I forget if it’s been out 2 or 3 weeks now.

^^I finally received my pre-ordered Man from U.N.C.L.E. today after 2 delay authorizations. (Last time, I gave up and cancelled The Prophecy set after 3 delays and I thought this might be a repeat of that.)

I was somewhat okay with the delay because j couldn’t decide if I should keep the order. It’s a blind buy, and I’m just not sure if I’ll like it ha.
