This year's show is March 28-30 in downtown Seattle, I always have a booth there, and this year they will have artist Jock who did a kick ass Halloween print for Mondo recently as well as a Judge Dredd one, and also actor Karl Urban (who played Dredd) as well as several comic book artists, celebrities, and more.

If you need more info, it can be found here: http://www.emeraldcitycomiccon.com/

3-Day tickets and Saturday tickets are sold out online, but available through some local comic stores here. If anyone is planning on coming out for it and need tickets, let me know and I can pick them up for you.
Will Jock be releasing an exclusive print? Would be awesome to have Karl Urban sign my Dredd print

Urban will be at Emerald City and then three weeks later in Vancouver for Fan Expo, another show I may do again (crossing the border can be a pain with product). I reached out to Jock via his site but have not heard back yet, no idea if he will be doing an exclusive print or not, or if he will be bringing any past prints to the show (I will admit his Halloween one he did a few months ago was pretty cool). I will PM you later about Urban's autograph, I assume you mean the Jock print for Dredd? Or did they do another?

The Jock Dredd. Yea that Halloween one was nuts. To creepy for me lol. I haven't boughten a poster since SDCC. Got sucked into saving for a theater and building my movie collection

I don't know what Urban will be charging for autographs, my guess is it will be $50 at least that he charges. Jock will be there, and I don't believe any non-media celebrity guests charge so having him sign it (if it's not already signed) wouldn't cost anything. I will look into it some more and let you know.

You should head up to Emerald City Comic-Con in late March up here in Seattle, that show is a major blast. 3-Day and Saturday badges have sold out online, but local stores here have them if you need me to get you any.
Really appreciate the offer Kinsella. Very generous of you to volunteer your time and efforts. The only thing I considered getting signed was my Sideshow Hellboy PF, but it's no biggie. Nothing I feel I need, just thought it would be cool to get done if I did end up going.

I've heard the Emerald City Con is great. One of these times I will make it up to that but unfortunately my work schedule over the next few months will prevent me from going this year.

Depends on the film.

For example with LoveLace we were given 2 posters whilst with monster university we were given about 30 in 3 different styles

Smaller films such as Lovelace see a smaller print run of posters, thus fewer sent to theaters. Larger films such as Monsters University will see more posters sent out, Disney though is quite protective of their properties and there are times when they want their posters back, especailly the special ones such as lenticulars, etc.

I will be at WW and have a booth, last minute decision so I am prepping, and yes ECCC is a great show, this will be the first year where it is three full days in length so its getting bigger and longer, which is fine with me as it is a blast to do.

You can say that again. When starwars was released they made us send them straight back on the day before the film came out

I assume you are talking about the prequels, correct? I remember someone showing me a letter from the studios wanting the Epsode 1 posters and banners back and I believe, if memory serves me correctly, if theaters were caught selling them, or the 35mm trailers, they would potentially not get the film for that particular theater. I thought I had heard there was one theater who ended up not getting the film because an employee did sell the posters or perhaps the banner, but I all I can remmeber if when I was offered those teaser posters I had to pay an insanely high price.

That is the first time I've seen that print. Mind sharing any details?

It's a mondo poster. Limited to 365, made by Kilian Eng. It's called the Iron Throne.

It's sold out but still available on Ebay.

I believe it was part of Mondo's Game of Thrones gallery.

Chances are the extras will be put up for sale about a week or so after the screening.
