Yeah, I'm supporting a company in a dedicated thread about that company, how weird, right?

I feel like if you've canceled your MP subscription, you should just stay out of this thread.

From the way all your comments have been I could come out and say hey we all get it you don't watch big hit movies, it doesn't affect you, you are very much in love with this company. But doesn't mean it doesn't affect anyone else.

But from me saying "So even the indie movies might be affected" its me hating moviepass? I'm disappointed in how moviepass has been handling things and the way they are taking drastic changes to certain things.

But I've never come out saying oh i hate you moviepass, I hope you fail.
I just feel like that was a very strange reading of Mitch Lowe's statement.

When I read that, I in no way interpreted it to mean indie films as well. I just assumed he meant the big budget, wide release films will randomly appear/disappear from the app.

That's why I used the word "might", didn't say it would. Cause would you really be surprised if that turned out to be the case? They already stated bigger movies would be affected with a 2 week wait. So the statement I posted could more than likely referring to everything else.

As for me still being in this thread, I only cancelled couple hours ago. I've been posting updates as much as I could to keep folks here informed on whats going on with the company. I may have cancelled but I'm still interested in how things turned out.

And as I said, I've always stated I wanted moviepass to strive and work things out. I'm not out here spouting hate. Some disappointment yes, but not hate. So I don't get your big issue with me. Anyways I'm done with this convo.

I'm canceled but not done for awhile. I live in a part of the world like you, where I can get to every movie I want. All that being said, I have no e-ticket options and the math with surcharges and lack of big movies doesn't add up. You can cheer all you want, but you're screaming at a wall for the most part when it comes to making fiscal sense for most of the user base.

I joined AMC STUBBS A_LIST last night. I've had enough. I have to cover new releases and being able to go to them on opening weekends. I only go to 3 movies a week anyway. (Fri,Sat,Sun.) so 3 days a week limit works for me. Also, I always see the 3-D version of any movie that comes out in 3D. So now I am covered for 3D as well. (AT $17.00 a pop for 3D, it gets expensive, and covers the monthly subscription cost for AMC.) I'll still use movie pass until my year is up in September as a 2nd go to. Then I will pass on MoviePass. The MoviePass terms are now just too ridiculous. It was good while it lasted. Also AMC does not require photos, which I never did figure out why MoviePass required it.

I managed to use this for Teen Titans after work today and it did go through.

I don't know what the hell's going on with MoviePass but I'll stick with them until I sort this MF'r out.

I got rid of the app today. Still have it until the end of August. Honestly, by then, they’ll probably be done for. Gonna run out these remaining days, and then, I’m doing AMC Stubs A List. I’d rather pay the extra $10 per month for a service that’ll work than an extra $5 for a service that might work sometimes but also won’t allow certain movies or certain times.

That’s actually a pretty shady and d*ck move.

There goes another added point as to why I don’t use their service.

Atom Tickets? Why don't you use them? But yeah, that is pretty much a d8ck move there on their part.

So glad I went and got my ticket for tonight at theatre open.

Looks like I’ll be doing the same for tomorrow night with Blindspotting.

All of our non-eticket theaters are blocked, so it is still a no-go for me.
