Not sure where to post this but I'm trying to sell one of my Mondo Prints but I don't want to get through feebay.

It's the Scott Pilgrim print from 2010. It's in a frame but the plastic got scratched while I was moving. I can replace that if you want and ship it in the frame or just roll it and send it in a tube. Up to you.

If some people don't PM you directly from this thread, eBay is your best route. I personally would not recommend selling/shipping prints framed, but that's just my opinion. Doing so not only adds to the cost of shipping but also increases the risk of doing damage to the print. Most people probably either want to keep them rolled or have them framed their to their specifications. Also if you have trimmed your prints, make sure to specify that, a lot of people don't bother to ask that to sellers, but some people actually trim down their prints (which is a major no-no) to sometimes get them to fit in frames.

There are times when a print (and a movie poster for that matter) aren't exactly spot on with it's supposed dimensions and people trim them down to fit in a ready-made frame. I believe one of the most sought after prints out there from Mondo (Stout's "The Thing") was advertised as 24x36 but I believe it was slightly larger. In 2009 when it was released for $40, no one suspected it would be $2000+ five years later and a few people who have since tried to resell it originally had trimmed it down to 24x36 to fit in a frame which devalued the print big time.

You can also try the ExpressoBeans site, it is exclusively about prints, buying, selling etc. and list your stuff there too if you want to eBay fees but eBay will get you maximum exposure so it's almost worth the 10% fees they charge.

Two different "Judge Dredd" prints being offered at this weekend's Emerald City Comic-Con here in Seattle are detailed here....

The first print is by artist Rob Prior, and features actor Karl Urban as Judge Dredd. Limited to only 75 hand numbered copies, 11x17 inches in size, available at the Emerald City Movie Posters booth (#1820) for $25. I got my Captain America poster from Disney Movie Rewards the other day. The tube was in perfect condition, but one edge of the poster is damaged pretty bad, for about 3 inches.

More than likely the poster was just put in the tube with no protection for the sides sliding back and forth....this again is a common problem they have and they don't seem desperate to correct their packaging issues.

Oh no problem. Im glad my curiosity in something completely new to me has actually helped others so much. This thread has taken on a life of itself I didnt think anyone knew i started it LOL.

I got new posters to post pics of but all my frames keep getting damaged.

Jock was a really cool guy, I was able to break away from my booth and talk to him a few times. I really wanted to get a commission out of him but he wasn't doing any, but was quite friendly. I ran into him after the show at one of the hotels in the lounge as he sat with Justin from Mondo (an equally nice guy) and some others from Mondo as they were up here to experience the con.

Yeah it sounds like they are shipping out the domestic posters but using the international images on the DMR site. A friend just emailed me and mentioned how poorly they were packaged but his managed not to take on too much damage but overall said they were packaged very poorly, again, no surprise to me.
