That's not considered high for a 20th Century Fox poster, again, with the exception of the ones taken from theaters, there won't be many out there that are in near-mint/mint condition. If you are referring to the style MoviePoster.com has, that's the international version, unsure if it that is the final style or not, probably so with the film due out in a month. Domestic final will be quite hard to get, probably fetch more than $59.99 from a dealer.

Remember original movie posters aren't intended to be sold, they are marketing promotional material, nothing more, nothing less...that's how the studios and theaters see them. That is why they are poorly packaged up and shipped to theaters, they know the theaters will tack them up or place in a lightbox frame inside or outside of the theater where it will sit for weeks, or sometimes months. Movie posters don't get treated with "kid gloves" per say, they often get abused so finding them through "movie poster dealers" is the best way to get them in the best possible condition because some dealers don't rely on theaters to get their posters, they have connections within the studios or distribution hubs and can get them practically untouched.

Many years ago studios would print up official television show promotional posters and send them out to the TV station affiliates that carried the show. The X-Files each year had a different promotional poster I remember way back and I remember those that worked at the stations would get an internal catalog and allow them order various promotional items for shows such as posters, shirts, coffee mugs, etc. I don't know if that is the case anymore, but I believe they had official ones for the show Lost, and other shows. I am not sure if finding an "original" is possible, meaning if they are still being done. With the internet a lot of images get released from studios online and there are dealers who sell posters and individuals who just take the image and make their own posters and sell them, etc. They aren't official though, since they aren't being printed and issued by the studios. This happens a lot with movie posters too. It's really a tough question to answer, as a long shot if you now anyone who works for a television affiliate that carries the shows in your area, that may be a good start.

I've been asking this question of a lot of sites that I visit because it keeps coming up for me.
What is your hanging technique? Everything from choice of nails, style to hang, etc. Personally, I'm freaking out about driving a nailing into a live wire, so I space my stuff out. I see that everyone's setup varies and I was wondering what works for each of you? |

Always have a level handy too... not a tiny cheap one either, one that runs the width of your frame. |

Very nice and I regret selling that ET print. I remember the trees looked like they almost had a varnish to them. Seeing that McCarthy is doing that Jurassic Park LP makes me think how great a full scale JP poster done by him would be.
