I have three accounts. If you want to use one of them, let me know. I have one account of $25 off $150 I'm not going to use. I'll remove my info before you use it, you can remove all your info after you use it.

Thanks for the offer but I'll pass. Would just be on preorders anyways.

It might be just as well, as I think the UPS has already lost one of our bogo shipments. It was out for delivery yesterday along with another. But when UPS arrived, he could only find the smaller of the two shipments. Now it's just been downgraded to "processing", as if they're still trying to figure out where it went. |

Just an F.Y.I for everyone regarding Target shipping. This more than likely does not affect their physical media, however I wanted to report this here on the off chance people start having a problem with thier orders. So far it appears to be only regarding baseball card box related orders, as a very large number of people are reporting (including myself) that recently placed orders for boxes of baseball cards are shipping out to random strangers instead of to the original purchaser. I placed some orders last week and Target provided me with the tracking numbers. The problem is, due to some sort of unknown issue, Target shipped the orders out to complete strangers in random states around the country. I checked my tracking numbers today and most show delivered to New York, New Jersey, Wisconsin, South Carolina, and a few other states.
Target is clueless as to what is going on, but a large amount of people are reporting this problem and people are quite upset because Target is saying it will take awhile to get back to those affected. So it appears the buyer isn't getting their orders but complete strangers are, and it's unlikely these people will return these packages to Target since some may assume family sent them to them for early Christmas gifts, etc. Frustrating to say the least. I certainly hope this issue doesn't spill out to the physical media buyers here and elsewhere. So just a heads up if you notice you have a tracking number and your order shows delivered in another state. Update: It appears that someone found out from customer service that Target assigned the wrong tracking number to it's customers and in some cases, the same tracking number given to multiple customers. Several orders are affected by this glitch which clearly is going to be problematic for Target. Last edited by Kinsella5; 12-01-2024 at 12:04 AM. |

Same here. My Mandalorian, Alien: Romulus and Ahsoka steelbooks are all still sitting at "Preparing."
I hope they actually arrive this upcoming week. Does anyone know if Target lets you cancel pre-orders once they hit the "Preparing" stage? I will likely keep the order as I got them in the B2G1, but I am curious how late one can cancel in general. |

I don’t think you can cancel an item once it’s preparing to ship. I did have a Blu-ray one time that was “preparing to ship” for like a week, but the status changed to backordered and then it could be cancelled. Target ended up cancelling that order, which was disappointing (apparently, they were preaparing to ship it, but ran out of stock). Alien: Romulus and The Gift have been “preparing to ship” for a few days. They will hopefully go out on Monday.

Ordered from the B2G1 sale 4K steelbooks for Ashoka, Mando S3 and Loki S2 and all say Preparing to ship, expected by 12/09. I've never had any issues with Target shipping my stuff. Usually receive it by Thursday the week of release. Target is one of the few retailers online that give me no worries.

I've had several toy and movie orders ship in the last few weeks, and the preparing to ship message has shown up for everything that is in stock and no longer a pre-order...however, it hasn't translated to actual preparation for shipment. Most items have been in the preparing to ship stage for close to a week before actually starting to move. For example, I ordered some Ben Cooper action figures that were in stock and as soon as the order was submitted, they were transitioned to preparing to ship. They stayed that way for 8 days before actually shipping out. The catch (as someone questioned above) is that Target will not allow you to cancel an order once it is in the preparing to ship status. Customer Service even said they couldn't cancel the order once it was in that stage. So be mindful over the next few weeks that there is no window to change your mind; with orders go to the "preparing to ship" status immediately, you'll have to wait until the item actually arrives before initiating a return rather than simply cancelling before shipment. (Sorry for the ramble - it's early and I haven't finished my coffee yet!)

I just noticed Criterion's relesaes of No Country for Old Men, and Paper Moon are up at Target. These are the first Criterion releases I've seen on there in a very long time. Could be potentially good news for future B2G1 sales if this more will be added from now on.

Of course they list these right after the sale ends haha. Did Target used to carry Criterion in the past? Can’t remember. |
