Looks like the episode 7 poster hits theaters this Monday. Possibly today if some places are lucky with shipping.

Curious if Disney will be wanting them back, all I can say is expect them to fetch top dollar if people find them out there for sale. Just remember there are fan-made posters out there being sold on eBay, etc.

Has anyone had any experience with seller "big-hit" on ebay? He/she has a few posters I want, but all the descriptions are the same, which is weird to me. He/she currently has a 100% seller rating.

Appears to be nothing more than a person who may collect movie posters selling what they have, or someone who either works at a theater or knows someone who does. They appear to have one of each poster listed and they pretty much state they have been used. They aren't a poster dealer, there are zillions of eBay sellers like this person, I'd be more concerned with actual condition and how they package their posters up, most on eBay don't realize the importance of that.

Also, the backside of the poster would be lighter than the front and based on the images it doesn't appear to be the case.

However, I had to edit my post as this may in fact be the official teaser. I found a link that appears to be a person taking a photo in their theater lobby of the same poster, so what the seller has on eBay could be the real thing. I would ask the seller though if the backside of the poster is a lighter shade than the front.

Thanks for the reply, K5. I'm just trying to be more cautious of who I buy from. The last time I bought a poster from someone with a 100% rating, the item wasn't as described and the seller refused to communicate.

One other thing. Why is this so much? http://www.ebay.com/itm/ORIGINAL-OCU...item2ee0a3d7ee It seems to be an odd price for said film.

That is the problem with eBay, there are a lot of sellers who describe a poster as "new" or "mint" and it turns out not to be the case. What one person considers "mint" a collector would consider "good". Then of course as I have mentioned, there is how they package a poster up, some people just toss in a tube, others believe that it magically is handed between people from sender to receiver like a big chain of hands where everyone is treating it like a newborn baby. Simply not the case. eBay has become a haven for everything under the sun, and eBay rarely regulates it because they don't have people that work for eBay that know anything about the items that are being sold, i.e. originals vs reprints vs counterfiets.

Why that eBay seller put that poster up is no idea, some sellers just put any price up and hope someone bids.

I usually get only reprints or mini posters from eBay. I prefer buying from a legit site for my DS originals. I had a Wizard of Oz 3D DS get destroyed through the USPS. Couldn't get an exchange. He only had one left. Getting a replacement through an actual online store is much easier.

Mondo and other small venue printers usually ship their products in more than one tube. Frustrating to get the poster, but well worth it knowing your poster is damage free.

Thank you again for the reply, K5. I just bid on a couple DS posters.

I'm thinking about buying one of these prints. I've wanted a Schindler's List poster for a pretty long time.

Have a couple of Shindlers Lists posters myself. Bought them years ago. Didn't think anybody had remembered the movie. Heh.

The movie was haunting. I saw it once in the theatre and don't care to watch it again. It should be watched at least once though. Not sure I would want the reminder on my wall.

I still remember the evening I saw it in theaters, went with a friend of mine and at the end of the film, he and I, and everyone else in the theater had tears in our eyes. When he drove me home, about a mile before my house I said "Hey you can just drop me off here" and I walked through the golf course to my place at the time, it was incredibly foggy out and I just wanted to think about what I had just seen. I have seen the film a few times since, picked it up on Blu-ray, as the performances were outstanding but would agree, its a difficult film to watch.

The girl in the red coat and the Auschwitz scenes get me the most. Yes it's very hard to watch, but it's a masterpiece and deserves its place as one of the greatest movies of all time.

It truly is a fantastic movie...

I remember leaving the theatre after watching it and I was just in a daze... it was late at night and I actually remember driving through a red light, the girl I was with was kind enough not to freak out... it wasn't intentional, just sort of happened.
