Does the main menu not have any sound at all? The movie does look great but thought it was weird that I feel like I'm watching a silent movie while at the main menu.

No sound on the menu. I thought it was very strange also.

I often prefer having no sound on the main menu. Having a bombastic clip in a loop can be infuriating when you leave it there for a little while before you’re ready for the movie. Although I guess you could mute the sound for such cases.

It’s not really a dealbreaker either way.

Sorry if this is a duplicate post. I couldn't find anyone else who mentioned it when I did a search. I got this delivered today and started watching, When I came back to it later I had to start at the beginning. Most discs on my player give me the option to resume. I'm a bit disappointed that there's no Dolby Atmos soundtrack. As far as visuals, it doesn't seem as sharp as some of my other discs, but maybe that's the source material.

What a great presentation! If only all my favorite cheesy 70s-90s favorites could get the same treatment (maybe minus the digital effects enhancements that I don't notice).

This sounds silly I guess, after similar discourse dating back to VHS/LD, but I cannot fathom being compelled to rebuy this title. (I'd apply the same, in terms of shit I've bought over and over, to Synapse Suspiria UHD, Goodfellas UHD).

"Even The Beatles!", this is the first time I'm watching and thinking that John was still around when they wrote/shot/(just barely) released the movie.

That line works a lot differently if he names a different artist or if Beatles go on to do bad stuff, have lame reunions, etc. In a way it's not dissimilar to a "what if" Strangelove happened to be released in October 63, Dallas line intact.

I remember the Superbit DVDs - not only no sound, but barely a menu at all! A grey screen with a few buttons (play, chapters, settings iirc). Flash by comparison is ultra-fancy. . .

It was even more infuriating when Thor Ragnarok menu sound clip was superior than the actual mix itself lol.

I like hearing sound on the main menu, the it gives me an idea of how the movie might sound. I agree about the Disney ones though, the sound always sucks.

Delayed in transit. This is not good, the more time in the hands of delivery person, the higher risk of getting a damaged product.

So I quickly tried one of the extra Bluray disc on my Xbox One X, it gave me wrong region error as expected. I tried the 4K disc, which "should" play, and it gave me an error saying it could not play this disc, nothing about region, like the 4k disc is bad.
