It’s funny, but I honestly like Amazon UK’s Steelbook art better than HMV’s. Yes, HMV’s is very striking and eye-catching, but it’s also “too much”, and the more minimalist art of Amazon’s Steel far better captures the aesthetic of the year 1984.

Thats cool, but i thought it was the worst art of all the covers I've seen. Though I just saw this for the first movie and its great. Better than the cartoonish steelbook art i have.

I’m beginning to think that myself. I already have 3 versions of WW already that includes 2 BB steelbooks. If they don’t announce anything by March I can’t see this happening.

I like that one a great deal more than the original Best Buy cartoon-style exclusive (that I also own), as well, but my understanding is it’s a lot more common than the BB exclusive, so I’ve decided to keep the cartoony one instead of trading out for the mass market Steel due to the former’s relative rarity.

Sure, but the artwork still sucks IMO. The UK steel really is the only decent artwork so far in my opinion.

Oh, I think it's a long way from 'suck', but it's kind of assaultive on the eyeballs, and I hate that it loses that mid-'80s vibe.

Yeah, sucks is hyperbole, but it's too antsy for my liking.

kindof reminds of some of the images Voyager and such sent back from Jupiter sort of around that time though

the UK one maybe has sort of 1984 computer graphics vibe but I'm not a fan of the design entirely, it doesn't look great or quite right. I like the teaser poster they use for the standard US cover art the best of all, super cool.

Yes, I don't love the UK one either, but with the given options, it's still the one I like the most and it's at least somewhat classy IMO. The other ones are too cluttered and/or unfavourable in regard to the main character and look more like Ordinary Woman to me. Prefer the inner print of the UK steel as well.

Glad to see this come to disc rather than be exclusive to HBO Max for god knows how long.

I’m torn between Amazon UK’s steelbook and Target’s exclusive.

Target has the same artwork, I’d prefer it as a steelbook but I’d be saving $30 and getting a digital copy. :/
